SIN
RULESET VERSION 0.1 (CONTINUED)

SIN MODE DESCRIPTIONS
There are seven sins, each with four levels of difficulty. Each level of difficulty must be completed successfully before the next higher difficulty can be attempted.

Greed
The Greed sin involves hitting the Greed standup targets a certain number of times within a time limit. All Greed targets light at the start of the sin. Hitting a Greed target scores and unlights it.
  • Level I
    • Goal: Hit 4 different Greed targets within 60 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Greed target adds 6 seconds, up to a maximum of 60 seconds.
    • Greed targets score 100K, 150K, 200K, 250K.
  • Level II
    • Goal: Hit 5 different Greed targets within 50 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Greed target adds 5 seconds, up to a maximum of 50 seconds.
    • Greed targets score 150K, 225K, 300K, 375K, 450K.
  • Level III
    • Goal: Hit 6 different Greed targets within 40 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Greed target adds 4 seconds, up to a maximum of 40 seconds.
    • Greed targets score 200K, 300K, 400K, 500K, 600K, 700K.
  • Level IV
    • Goal: Hit all 7 Greed targets within 30 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Greed target adds 3 seconds, up to a maximum of 30 seconds.
    • Greed targets score 250K, 375K, 500K, 625K, 750K, 875K, 1M.
  • Level V
    • Goal: Hit all 7 Greed targets within 20 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Greed target adds 2 seconds, up to a maximum of 20 seconds.
    • Greed targets score 300K, 450K, 600K, 750K, 900K, 1.05M, 1.2M.
Once the required hits are complete, all Greed targets light for the remaining time in the sin. Each hit during this time scores one-half the value of the last required hit.

Sloth
The Sloth sin involves shooting the holes on the playfield a certain number of times within a time limit. Valid holes are the Cerberus Lock and the Soul Burn hole.
  • Level I
    • Goal: Hit any 2 holes within 90 seconds.
    • First hole scores 150K.
    • Hitting a different hole than the previous one scores 450K.
    • Hitting the same hole scores 100K.
  • Level II
    • Goal: Hit any 3 holes within 75 seconds.
    • First hole scores 225K.
    • Hitting a different hole than the previous one scores 675K.
    • Hitting the same hole scores 150K.
  • Level III
    • Goal: Hit any 4 holes within 60 seconds.
    • First hole scores 325K.
    • Hitting a different hole than the previous one scores 975K.
    • Hitting the same hole scores 200K.
  • Level IV
    • Goal: Hit any 5 holes within 45 seconds.
    • First hole scores 450K.
    • Hitting a different hole than the previous one scores 1.35M.
    • Hitting the same hole scores 250K.
  • Level V
    • Goal: Hit any 6 holes within 30 seconds.
    • First hole scores 600K.
    • Hitting a different hole than the previous one scores 1.8M.
    • Hitting the same hole scores 300K.
Once the required hits are complete, all holes light for the remaining time in the sin. Each hit during this time scores the “same hole” value of the last required hit.

Lust
The Lust sin is a 2-ball multiball that involves alternating ramps a certain number of times. Both ramps are lit for Lust Jackpots to start. After a ramp is hit, the lit ramp alternates.

If Lust is started when a multiball is already in progress, any balls lost in that multiball are relaunched and one additional ball is added, up to a maximum of 4 balls.
  • Level I
    • Goal: Collect 4 Lust Jackpots.
    • Lust Jackpots score a base value of 100K+50K, limit 1M.
    • Hitting the unlit ramp increases the base value for all subsequent Lust Jackpots by 10K.
  • Level II
    • Goal: Collect 6 Lust Jackpots.
    • Lust Jackpots score a base value of 200K+100K, limit 2M.
    • Hitting the unlit ramp increases the base value for all subsequent Lust Jackpots by 20K.
  • Level III
    • Goal: Collect 8 Lust Jackpots.
    • Lust Jackpots score a base value of 300K+150K, limit 3M.
    • Hitting the unlit ramp increases the base value for all subsequent Lust Jackpots by 30K.
  • Level IV
    • Goal: Collect 10 Lust Jackpots.
    • Lust Jackpots score a base value of 400K+200K, limit 4M.
    • Hitting the unlit ramp increases the base value for all subsequent Lust Jackpots by 40K.
  • Level V
    • Goal: Collect 12 Lust Jackpots.
    • Lust Jackpots score a base value of 500K+250K, limit 5M.
    • Hitting the unlit ramp increases the base value for all subsequent Lust Jackpots by 50K.
Before all required Lust Jackpots are collected, shooting both ramps simultaneously scores a Double Penetration Jackpot, which is the sum of the two Lust Jackpots that would have been scored, doubled. (In Family Mode, this is just called a Lust Double Jackpot.)

Once the required Lust Jackpots are collected, Lust continues to run until all but one ball is lost. The Lust Jackpots continue to increase up to their limit.

Envy
The Envy sin involves shooting the loops and ramps for hurry-ups. One of the left ramp, right ramp, left orbit and right orbit is randomly selected to start, with a hurry-up value of 250K. Hurry-ups decrease at a constant speed with a 3-second delay. Hurry-ups stop at 50K and wait for 3 seconds before timing out. Collecting a hurry-up scores that value and adds 250K to the next hurry-up value at a randomly selected location. The hurry-up is never in the same place twice. (All scoring values in Envy are multiplied by Playfield X, including the goal value, starting hurry-up value, decay rate, ending value, and hurry-up increment on collection.)
  • Level I
    • Goal: Collect a hurry-up value of 500K or more.
    • Hurry-up value decays at 10K per second.
  • Level II
    • Goal: Collect a hurry-up value of 750K or more.
    • Hurry-up value decays at 15K per second.
  • Level III
    • Goal: Collect a hurry-up value of 1M or more.
    • Hurry-up value decays at 20K per second.
  • Level IV
    • Goal: Collect a hurry-up value of 1.25M or more.
    • Hurry-up value decays at 25K per second.
  • Level V
    • Goal: Collect a hurry-up value of 1.5M or more.
    • Hurry-up value decays at 30K per second.
Once the required hurry-up value is collected, Envy continues to run until the hurry-up decreases to 50K. The hurry-up can be collected any number of times before it hits 50K, but it does not increase with each collection.

Pride
The Pride sin involves spinning the Gates of Hell spinners a certain number of times within a time limit.
  • Level I
    • Goal: Spin the Gates of Hell 20 times within 60 seconds.
    • Each spin scores 20K.
  • Level II
    • Goal: Spin the Gates of Hell 30 times within 50 seconds.
    • Each spin scores 30K.
  • Level III
    • Goal: Spin the Gates of Hell 40 times within 40 seconds.
    • Each spin scores 40K.
  • Level IV
    • Goal: Spin the Gates of Hell 50 times within 30 seconds.
    • Each spin scores 50K.
  • Level V
    • Goal: Spin the Gates of Hell 60 times within 20 seconds.
    • Each spin scores 60K.
Once the required number of spins is collected, the spinners remain lit for the remaining time in the sin. Each spin scores half the above values.

Gluttony
The Gluttony sin involves hitting the lit Sin Bin a certain number of times within a time limit. The Sin Bin is lit for 3 seconds by the ball when the ball travels over the inlane switches or the two rollover switches above the upper flippers when they are lit for Gluttony according to the rules below. Ramp shots divert the ball to the upper flippers when they are lit for Gluttony.
  • Level I
    • Goal: Hit 1 lit Sin Bin within 30 seconds.
    • All four Gluttony switches are lit.
    • Sin Bin scores 500K.
  • Level II
    • Goal: Hit 2 lit Sin Bins within 28 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Sin Bin adds another 28 seconds.
    • For the first Sin Bin: The inlanes are lit for Gluttony.
    • For the second Sin Bin: The upper flippers are lit for Gluttony.
    • Sin Bin scores 750K, 1M.
  • Level III
    • Goal: Hit 3 lit Sin Bins within 25 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Sin Bin adds another 25 seconds.
    • For the first Sin Bin: The left inlane is lit for Gluttony.
    • For the second Sin Bin: The right inlane is lit for Gluttony.
    • For the third Sin Bin: The upper flippers are lit for Gluttony.
    • Sin Bin scores 1M, 1.5M, 2M.
  • Level IV
    • Goal: Hit 4 lit Sin Bins within 23 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Sin Bin adds another 23 seconds.
    • For the first Sin Bin: The right inlane is lit for Gluttony.
    • For the second Sin Bin: The upper left flipper is lit for Gluttony.
    • For the third Sin Bin: The left inlane is lit for Gluttony.
    • For the fourth Sin Bin: The upper right flipper is lit for Gluttony.
    • Sin Bin scores 1.25M, 2M, 2.75M, 3.5M.
  • Level V
    • Goal: Hit 5 lit Sin Bins within 20 seconds.
    • Hitting a lit Sin Bin adds another 20 seconds.
    • The upper left flipper and right inlane are lit for Gluttony at the start. These alternate with the upper right flipper and left inlane every 5 seconds.
    • Sin Bin scores 1.5M, 2.5M, 3.5M, 4.5M, 5.5M.
Once the required hits are complete, the Sin Bin is lit continuously for the remaining time in the sin; there is no need to travel over a Gluttony light first. Each hit during this time scores one-fifth the value of the last required hit.
