very near future fully tweaked and optimized
You must be new, and you are!
It was a joke. The quoted part makes the post funny, as cynicism got common here and it's ok to be like that!. Reading the first few pages, when dx11 was coming in the near future, in late 2013, and reading about "very near future fully tweaked and optimized" in april 2015, you got to admit, is a sad and funny thing.
Yeah, i know it will be here someday, but it took forever and my hype is way down than it was a few years ago.
And the tweaked and optimized part makes it even funnier. A random example, this post - http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/9894-Version-1-36-8?p=199710&viewfull=1#post199710
Do you think any of that will get fixed soon? Some people might die of old age and not get to see crazy old bugs fixed.
I have it on xbone also and there is no rumble! Ps4 had no rumble also and it came out since forever. Has that been fixed on ps4 btw?
The only way i could get real real hype and forget it all is if Rollergames is at least announced for season 7!
Rollergames! Definitely a rockin' non-licensed table that I grew up with it.

Rollergames was licensed.
So... We're all just obsessively looking at this thread and Steam hoping for the DX11 update to be today, right?

I like you. Let's be friendsA join date is always something to base all assumptions on because there's just absolutely no way someone could have been an active observer of a public forum they purposely decided not to join long ago because they can't stand the current trend of online conversations.
Obviously it won't be perfect (I was speaking generally) and optimization is subjective to hardware and personal expectations. But you can (hopefully) take a second to understand that development is never perfect and isn't released as soon as you want because it just plain isn't ready. I guarantee that if they released it this second you'd be complaining about how unpolished and broken it is, and that the version you will eventually get will be countless times better (though not perfect and for some completely unplayable). I accept that the Steam audience has waited far longer than they should have, but come on... you know what I meant (again, hopefully) and are just being sarcastic for the sake of snark and some arbitrary way of discrediting something you know deep down but still dislike.... hopefully.

Rest assured guys: the beta is coming along very nicely thanks to Mike's hard work, and seeing these tables in dark mode with the flashers and GI going is a real treat. I'm finding myself sometimes losing track of the ball because I'm dazzled by the lights, and that's something that's never happened for me in TPA, but does happen on real pins...so that's pretty awesome.
