NOT officially sanctioned by FarSight... just for fun/curiosity... what are your TOP 10 STERN tables of what's left, that you would like to see on The Pinball Arcade?

Poll maximum is 30 selections (you can vote for up to 10), so I've tried my best to cram most of the fan favorites into it. If there's a table you wish had been included, my apologies. I have also omitted any tables heavily rumored or pretty much confirmed for future release.

Info about each of the choices can be found at the links below, thanks to the IPDB...

Big Game (1980)
Catacomb (1981)
Cheetah (1980)
Cosmic Princess (1979)
Dracula (1979)
Dragonfist (1982)
Freefall (1981)
Galaxy (1980)
High Roller Casino (2001)
Hot Hand (1979)
Iron Maiden (1981)
Lectronamo (1978)
Lightning (1981)
Magic (1979)
Memory Lane (1978)
Meteor (1979)
Nine Ball (1980)
Orbitor 1 (1982)
Quicksilver (1980)
Seawitch (1980)
Sharkey's Shootout (2000)
Split Second (1981)
Star Gazer (1980)
Stars (1978)
Stingray (1977)
Striker Xtreme (2000)
Trident (1979)
Viper (1981)
Wild Fyre (1978)

Interested to see what the results will be. Just thought this would be fun as Season Three winds down and Season Four approaches. :)

Non-licensed, although Meteor sort of has one. It's tied to the movie.

All classic Stern Electronics picks for me.

Doh! Had no idea it was tied to the Sean Connery movie. Wow.

Well, out of 5 polls (so far), I was bound to make at least one goof. My mistake, guys. :)

Man, this was the hardest poll yet, as 99% of these tables look terrible and uninteresting.

I could only muster 4:

- Catacomb
- Dracula
- High Roller Casino
- Meteor

(I still don't get the love for "Seawitch"? It looks so boring.)

I'm totally unfamiliar with those Sterns before Stern. I'll take a look but votes will be based only on my internet findings. I'm not sure should I do it actually. It's not the same seeing someone playing a table or playing it.

I actually like Sharkey's Shootout. Kind of like a modern take on 8 Ball Deluxe. But why is the backbox white? Did they run out of paint or decals? What gives?

Modern take? More like they lifted the actual playfield and put a ramp on it. Basically a blatant ripoff of EBD with alternate artwork and rules.

I chose the three recent ones, and forget the rest. Back in the two table per pack era, even if both tables were turkeys, at least I'd somewhat get my money's worth. Now, with 1 table per pack, that table better be real good, or I will be pyst. With a handful of exceptions, most tables made prior to 1988 are not good enough to stand on their own. I don't want to encourage FS to supply any more.

For the first time,I didn't pick ten. I just don't see ten pins worthy of my vote.

My top three,by far:

Seawitch
High Roller Casino
Meteor

Throw Viper in at 4, mainly because of the H.R. Giger inspired playfield. (Giger passed away today - a sad loss for sure)

False statement alert.
While it's debatable if it is just Stern related, it certanly isn't true for Bally, Williamas and Gottlieb.
I was talking about Stern (and 1988 is pushing it there - it's not really until the modern era, starting around 1999-2000, that Stern became worthy). Correct the date to "prior to 1980" and that statement becomes true.

I still don't get the love for "Seawitch"? It looks so boring.

It's not the deepest ruleset, but it's super fast IRL, and (again IRL) very satisfying to time the upper loop juuuust right to keep gunning it around and around for multipliers. I stumbled across it last summer during a visit to the Pacific Pinball Museum in Alameda, California. Mostly a "hit the traveling shot" game, in the vein of Victory, but the theme and the era are just right for me.

I like the depth of rules of the DMD games, but sometimes you just want a table that's simple and slaps you around for slow reflexes or bad aim. Seawitch is such a table.
