I had it correct in my program at least! My eyes and fingers were a bit blurry at the end of the night. I am so not a data entry person. Corrected here now.

I did a quick alternative scoring of this tournament. I just ranked all scores on each machine from 1 to 28, gave that number of points, and added up each player's points. The results are below, with these points given as "TRk" (total) and "Rk".

Other fields:
- Devices = a player's devices, as listed in their profile here.
- MYRA = a player's rank in my Top 100 list.
- TPt and Pt = the actual points given for this tournament.
- Gp = group number.

If a score is red, that is the highest score ever for this player on this table, if the score is in the top 1000 of this table's leaderboard.

I think the actual scoring system is fine. The only change I might suggest is merging groups, when possible, when no-shows create two or more groups with less than four players. Example: one player was in a group by himself for Genie. Five of the Genie groups had three players. I might merge the one-player group with a randomly-chosen three-player group prior to ranking. Just a thought.

I'm so surprised I'm not last! That was such a fun tournament and can't wait for the next one. And i really thank and applaud everyone for their (I really hope) honesty! Thank you shutyertrap for your hard work with organizing this, we really appreciate it.

I'm really happy with 2nd place. I got lucky that I never had the top scores to compete with in my groups.

After the smoke has cleared, a congrats to shutyertrap on a nicely runned tourny using the best methods available to you. In addition to a tourny that was pretty much runned on an honor system, I think all and all it was an honest two and out for nearly everyone it seems. I have a few ideas for the next tourny assuming farsight doesn't develop some kind of tournament maker software or something: 1. Have two divisions: A and B. A for those pinball wizards and shown elite scores, B for everyone else. Winner of B must play A, loser of A goes to B, type of thing. 2. Have everything in one thread and close any and all multiple threads. 3. Instead of offering one 12 hour block, offer 3 groups of 4 hours. Or better yet to help all time zones, 5 groups of 4 hours. Assuming 4 games, have games played, pictured, and photo'd inside the 4 hours. Time management might need to be implemented for top players, but will surely limit ones ability to do multiple games until we get a score we like. Once again, applause to all of honorable players out there. 4. Employ help from others you trust. I believe a few offered 5. If need to help you out, take an extra day to compute the scores. I'm sure we could wait. Anyway, nice job, it's a tourny I like and I'd love to get better playing under pressure. Cheers
