What are your most-wanted tables?

Williams is now known as WMS. They do make games but they are mostly slot machines or other gaming (as in casino gaming) devices. Stern was the last pinball company but now jersey jack is a startup coming out with a couple tables.

I guess the point I was trying to make though, is who are they paying if these companies aren't around anymore?

They are paying WMS. Williams Pinball may be no more, but WMS still retains the licenses. Stern bought the rights to Data East and Sega, so they get the money from those if FS ever decides to do one of those tables. There is always somebody out there who holds a license. Just because Hostess is no more doesn't mean anybody can now start making yellow sponge cakes and call them Twinkies.

I've mentioned Class of 1812 several other threads. It's one of my PinMame favorites.
The other day I had the opportunity to play a bit of Familly Guy, and I only played it once, but that Stewie themed upper playfield with the teeny flippers and the teeny rampshots is just adorable.

I would love to see Doctor Who this year, since it's the 50th Anniversary of the show and I think BBC would be happy with a mobile app to promote just like Zen and Disney got to do with Star Wars pinball.

I love Doctor Who. I think it would really do well if a Kickstarter was required. Huge support from countries outside of the US and it has really come into a popular following in the US over the last few years as well. Not to mention there are enough pinball supporters that would back most any table regardless of the amount of love they have for that particular show.

I would even back this table just to play it, and I am not even a Whoivan it just looks like a fun table.

It can be, but it's also pretty difficult. Multiball takes a while to start and requires a lot of risky shots to do so, and it will penalize you by going back a stage if you drop from 3-ball to 2-ball. Evil outlanes and wide center gap, too. (Damn you, lightning flippers!)

Doctor Who is a good, tough table, sort of a spiritual successor to Pin*Bot. It was one of my favorites back in the Nineties, and when I had the chance to play one recently, it still held up.

That said, I'm guessing Doctor Who would be one of the most difficult tables to license from a rights perspective. It's not just getting the Doctor Who license from the BBC; there are likenesses of real actors all over the table, and it's got the Daleks in it, which means dealing with the estate of Terry Nation, which is notoriously hard to do. For a while, it was unclear that even Doctor Who would be able to use the Daleks when they revived the series!

My top ten is taken from watching the archives, you-tube and other media as Ive not played any of them. Living in Scotland, there is a distinct lack of variation. The table list is picked through what I think would be good gameplay, sound effects and longevity.

1_ Sopranos -This table looks like it has a great filled field of play with toys and interesting modes..
2_ Fish Tales - Ive seen this on a few lists and after watching a few vids I can see why. A good all round table.
3_ Roller Coaster Tycoon - I love the crazy rail and ramp system on this table.
4_ Guns 'N' Roses - Put simply, "A Rockin' Soundtrack."
5_ Space Invaders - The artwork on this table looks like its been done by H.R. Giger, (Aliens), Stunnin'!
6_ Starship Troopers - Love the film, the table looks as action filled.
7_ Surf 'n' Safari - A simple, well put togeth table
8_ Family Guy - Again, a table filled with toys and that mini table in the top, right corner, cool as mince!
9_ South Park - Quite a basic table but with a giant Kenny and Mr. Hanky toilet. The voices on this table get me in stitches everytime.
10_ Champion Pub - Another table with cool toys, video mode and great lay out.

With any luck I'll own one of these in the future or will see them on TPA. I know licensing is a huge nightmare so Im not holding my breath. I know this list is not to everyones taste and Ive probably missed out some great tables but its only an opinion! Later all

Having recently played on a broken Pirates and a wonky Junkyard, I would like to see FS's take on Junkyard.

How well can they handle a dangling object in the middle of the playfield? I'd like to know.

South Park pinball! It hasn't been mentioned yet that I know of. There's a gas station right by where I work that had it. We may have ruined it though. It would never tilt. But you could kill Kenny, and there was a chef mode. All the sound effects were great. Also 'tron' and 'transformers would be awesome. These will never get made by FS I'm sure

1. The Addams Family (Bally, 1992): Well, what can you say? I think you know you want it!
2. The Simpsons Pinball Party (Stern, 2003): Deserves it's right in Pinball Arcade because of the Super Ultra Mega Extreme Wizard Mode and the overall depth of the game, plus the neat upper playfield and the brilliant humor.
3. Junk Yard (Williams, 1996): The Time Machine mode especially, but the gameplay and art make this game good as well.
4. RollerCoaster Tycoon (Stern, 2002): Pack this with Monopoly and I'll be set. It truly told us that Pat could still make great games today.
5. Bad Cats (Williams, 1989): Awesome music, plus a hilarious backglass animation and other shots. But 20 million point shot? I don't think so.
6. The Party Zone (Bally, 1991): Well, it IS my avatar. Set the tone for all of Dennis' other games, and for good reason.
7. Tales from the Crypt (Data East, 1993): Data East's only good table has some varied modes and the best Jackpot animation ever. Come on, it has a CHAINSAW in it!
8. The Getaway: High Speed II (Williams, 1992): Played this game at a boardwalk in Weirs Beach; the sounds are great, the flow is awesome, it's one of my favorite games by Steve Ritchie.
9. Xenon (Bally, 1980): This game looks cool now that I thought of it... Love the tube and the overall theatrical presentation of it.
10. Red and Ted's Road Show (Williams, 1994): This Pat Lawlor game is one of my all-time favorites. Country-pop music isn't for everyone, but it fits the theme well; I also marvel at the sheer magnitude of everything but the kitchen sink put into the playfield.

I've owned a lot of machines and played the rest. There is one machine I owned that I would always come back to and always want to get a game in on. Demolition Man, hope we can eventually get this one. Just love it and really hope this sleeper gets made. It's a fairly simple game and pros can just destroy it, but I love it.

Hi, I posted this wish list many months ago and it was good to see that 1 out of this list has been released, however it wasn't quite my favourite, EBD is my favourite pinball of all time. Realistically, what are the chances of these tables being released?
