Nothing to write home about. Happy about my Taxi score, 2 EBs on the first ball but got the 100k skillshot on both so that was maximised.
Taxi: 6m
Starship Troopers: 87m
Cactus Canyon: 39m
Space Shuttle: 3m
Time to buckle down :)
Guess I can try to focus and make some good scores. Still 25 in the leaderboards on Hurricane with just two games played and drained the last ball out of irritation and boredom, or maybe I just got lucky...
I will need to read the instructions on Starship and Cactus...
But how? Micro nudge and you 'know' you can do exactly 5 such nudges, unless you compensate in an other direction if you kinda feel where the tiltbob is (and that doesn't need a physical representation, that seems like overkill).
But with analog there is more feel and it could easily be set to...
Really, if they want to raise difficulty they need to totally overhaul the nudging and sliding system; a total rethink.
Analog is the way to go, one can't have it all - and making a difficult working nudge system in the on/off digital keyboard way seems improbable.
And a year is not that long...
300 people paid 85 or more so we get 2 season passes.
I really hope there are allot more than 300 people playing and buying season passes for TPA; anyone have any figures? So there loss in sales should really be a drop in the ocean...
Yeah... A while ago I came back to play TPA and it was behaving strange.
In my case fiddling with the V-sync unscrambled my stuttering.
1. Try setting 'Prefered refresh rate' to Maximum, if that doesn't help set it to Application controlled.
2. Change V-sync to Application controlled, switch to...
So maybe they sell the regenerated as a part of Dr Who and it will be a switch like Addams family gold (I think Mike said so in the podcast, that it would be a switch that is) and then 9 more 'stand alone' tables.
There are those who dislike the thought of a regenerated table being part of TPA...
Let it be Johnny Mnemonic, the sooner we get it the better! As a non KS that is, should as Eldar said be feasible for Farsight.
After reading all the praise for Shadow I hope we will see that soonish too.
Procedural stuff is just soo cool :)
I will look into this project. Have you looked at Limit Theory, a procedural space simulator being developed by Josh Parnell?
I often seem to have to stop and think what the acronym means before continue reading, so unless it is part of the topic like in a thread about Scared Stiff and you use SS to say something about it. If you drop BSD in suddenly one might just lose one stride ;)
Also I pledged 100$ now - boss...
Crikey!
I was sure I was going to save 100$ now that it has gotten funded, but 2 pro passes plus the TAF gold might just....
Gah! Advice, should I donate? Plus it goes to the next kickstarter - if I buy the season pass the regular way it wont; something to think about.
Well I will chip in 17 bucks the last day if it is still needed; might even do it if it is not needed if Mike makes a good argument for the table.
What I want is a balanced table where risk and reward is good and no ridiculous scoring so there only is one or two way to play the table to get a...
Because five balls is cheating... (if you listen to Coast2Coast pinball with Nate Shivers)
And when we get Head2Head one might want just 3 balls against each others.
Got sidetracked with the Witcher series last two months but this latest tournament of the month sucked me back in. And TPA looks...
What a nice suprise to wake up to, tenth place is really good for me - maybe I should try to up my presence in the leaderboards.
A worthy season winner, congratz!
Three cheers for ShutYerTrap!!!
