What's stopping them from making Nyan Cat pinball? Can you imagine the horror of two Nyan Cat tables next to each other with competing repeating soundtracks? That'd be the worst thing this side of listening to Goin' Nuts.
I don't think F-14 Tomcat is facing any serious licensing issues (even re: the plane). I just think they haven't gotten around to it yet. They just renewed the Williams/Bally license, and are now producing one table a month. It'll take some time to get through all the great tables they can...
No, I'm afraid I don't have the space for any real pinball machines and even if I did, I don't have the know-how to maintain them properly (which are two of the reasons I like The Pinball Arcade so much). I just pulled my avatar off of a Google image search for High Speed.
And yes, that is the...
That might work. However, FarSight does have to think about the mass consumer market as well, not just pinheads. If a table is too expensive, sure, every devotee will gladly pay a lot for an ultra-premium table, but it may scare off the scads of casual players, and the drop off in total volume...
I have thankfully forgotten how that goes. But, you can also think of the themes to Gyruss, Reactor, and Dig Dug if you like. :)
Not that it's most famous for it's music, but hopefully High Speed's music begins running through our iPads' speakers and into our heads soon.

With the newsletter hint out for Table Pack #24 and a pretty strong consensus about what it implies, no time like the present to start ruminating about Table Pack #25. With the new Williams/Bally contract extension in place, my hopes for the original High Speed are very high. That said, it...
Thankfully, since Black Knight 2000 has been announced as the next table, I can take it out from this list, but it would have been #2 on this list behind High Speed.
1. High Speed
2. F-14 Tomcat
3. Red & Ted's Roadshow
4. Eight Ball Deluxe
5. Cyclone (or maybe Earthshaker)
First off, I think we're still several months away from another KickStarter. After the first two went like gangbusters, the T2 KickStarter was a bit more of a slog. It was successful, but it seemed the group of people inclined to contribute to these sorts of things had gotten a bit burnt out...
With the recent emphasis on the renewed Williams/Bally licenses, I think High Speed I or II will be next. i think releasing I first would give better aggregate sales for the two tables combined if they release both, which I think they will. Thus, though it may be wishful thinking on my part...
