I thought I had read that Fox and others were wanting some fairly high license fees...I don't know if that was referring to them doing standard tables or if it would affect a kickstarter. I would like to see TSPP....but who knows? If they were going to do one don't they usually announce in the...
Yeah....a $1200 TZ would have been a pretty good investment...lol I wonder if any of those tables will get reproduced like MM? I wonder if that had any impact of the prices of it?
I really like Sorcerer....about 2 years ago I passed on a local one in really good shape. They wanted $1400 and I just couldn't pull the trigger. Regretted it ever since. Haven't seen one come up locally since then.
I got think that we would probably get both at some point. I wonder were FS is with remaining licenses for Williams/Bally? I thought I had read they planned at least for season 5 and 6, but I wonder if the Stern stuff means we might get more? With F-14 out of the way, my final remaining must...
"As for over promising... The only promise FarSight makes is at the start of a season when a pass is made available. That is, there will be 10 tables made available. They have never promised a season would include a new UI, or cab support, or DX11, different physics, ball spin, or online...
I would suspect that the former is true, based on Shutyertraps non-answer answer. I am sure there is a lot of legal-ize going on with NDA and so forth. Will we get a real answer from Farsight...I doubt it.
However, the latter wouldn't be an issue if FS wouldn't have committed to free cab...
I totally agree with what you have said. I am sure that they can't or won't comment further on it. I will just go back to VP, which is why I built my cabinet 4 years ago. I just think this was a huge missed opportunity, primarily by Stern. The big problem with cabs has been the difficulty of...
If they were honest and gave the reason that they couldn't do it, it would probably damage the relationship they have with "whatever" company (My guess Stern) and would put them (My guess Stern) in a negative light. (Which it should!)
On the point of professionals not making progress, I would say that I suspect that Farsight has at this point a fully working cab build (or very close), they just probably can't/won't release it. My guess is Gary Stern is the reason. But at least Mike and crew can enjoy the fruits of his labor...
I don't know, in the last podcast....one of the answers related to cab support seemed to indicate that at least one of the manufactures was not a fan of cab support. But maybe that just gave Farsight an out on not delivering one of the many things you listed...:D
I would also add, that if it...
