    All Zen's tables finished (100%)

Go take the Zen Studios tour! I think they offer it in Fridays and it includes admission to the Budapest Pinball Museum.

    All Zen's tables finished (100%)

The real question is, do you still wanna play pinball after that? :D I know when I finally got all the wizard goals in TPA (this was probably up to season 5), I was done with the game for a month. And then more tables came out, which I felt I'd get to in good time, and then I tried opening the...

What Would You Pay To Have Actual Film Scores For Zen Original?

Zen was willing, issue was the licensors. For me Jaws isn’t Jaws without his theme. Just call the table ‘Great White’ for how generic the music is.

What Would You Pay To Have Actual Film Scores For Zen Original?

That was a most excellent article! Thank you for finding that. In particular I found this quote interesting... "Moreover, there are times when an initial license, depending on who your music consultant is/was, can cover 'future or now unknown platforms.' This generally is a good faith gesture...

What Would You Pay To Have Actual Film Scores For Zen Original?

In our podcast, I suggested that it’d be cool, though costly, to be able to pay for DLC on an individual table basis to get the actual film score music in Zen originals rather than the generic music. I mean Jaws is not Jaws without that theme. Jurassic Park is sorely missing that oomph from...

    Williams Pinball App Discussion

Yeah, so when the last pack dropped, I had 350 coins in reserve. Took a little over a month to earn all 3 table's parts, after which I started earning coins once more. Of course having done the upgrades, I was once more back down to 50. I have since gotten myself back up to 464 coins by trying...

I came for the Williams, I stayed for the others

Mel announced this in our last interview with him.

    Williams Pinball App Discussion

Once you have all the parts, it’ll start giving you coins instead. Most of the time you’ll get one coin per challenge, but the ‘hard’ versions often give a few more.

    Arcade1up Pinball?

Hmmm, I might have thrown the 2 Alvin Gs in there

    Harry Potter pinball

I didn't watch the video, but I'd probably pick that book too. There's 3 specific tasks for the tournament, the dragon egg challenge (sounds like a good multiball opportunity), the underwater rescue (sounds like a hurry up mode), and the maze with traps (shoot the flashing ramps in a certain...

    Arcade1up Pinball?

FarSight only made 24 Gottlieb recreations. So either ToyShock puts the remaining 12 on version 2.0, or I think they put all 24 on there. ToyShock is not going to want to keep manufacturing v1.2 once 2.0 comes out, and the software costs nothing to include.

    Arcade1up Pinball?

I thought I heard "12 to 24", which would essentially just be the entire Gottlieb collection. Makes sense, if you are making a video backbox then there's no reason you can't just put the alpha scoring on that. That will also streamline manufacturing so that the only thing they are having to...

Looks like Zen updated upgrade requirements

Take this momentary advantage to collect coins. You will now always get at least one as part of the 3 card flip. Try collecting at least 100, ideally 300, before the next pack and then the ONLY thing you’ll have to worry about is parts, which will be super easy to collect as there’ll be limited...

    The Random Thought Thread

I watched Face/Off last night, and it’s been years despite me actually owning it. What a 90’s movie! I mean the camera style, score, pacing, so if that era. I love John Woo, but his explosive bullets and slo-mo doves are a bit ridiculous now. And then there’s the whole concept, face swapping...

I like Ragnarok a lot. Miles better than the other 2 Thor movies and Jeff Goldbloom absolutely steals the show. Nothing wrong with those other three you need to watch either.

    The Random Thought Thread

We would rotate each get together for who got to pick the movies, always a double feature. What some people never understood was the concept of a movie being so bad it becomes good. A bad movie just gets boring after a half hour and the enthusiasm in the room falls off a cliff. My three best...
