I don't mind having unlimited chances per table. But, I'd love it if it took your most recent score instead of your best score. That way, if you want to try to get a better score, you risk going down instead of up.
This is already listed as a bug for Cirqus Voltaire, but it should be added to the Master Issues List for Funhouse as well.
From the CV Master Issues List:
07-016: Starting new game leaves table in attract mode
First reported: 20 Sep 2012
Description: Starting a new game sometimes leaves the...
I've posted this to the Cirqus Voltaire forum, but the following are still present in 2.7.x:
Not sure if it's still worthwhile to post bugs to Cirqus Voltaire as there are so many already, and there have been calls to overhaul the whole thing, but I have been plagued by these and I didn't see...
Not sure if it's still worthwhile to post bugs to Cirqus Voltaire as there are so many already, and there have been calls to overhaul the whole thing, but I have been plagued by these and I didn't see them on Sean's master list yet:
(All bugs found on iPad 4 / 6.1.3)

A lot of times, my favorite targets on tables are the ones with the greatest sound effects. How satisfying is hitting one of the Firepower 1-6 targets that's still flashing? Mmm. Could do that all day long.
I know that it's highly detrimental to getting high scores, but I actually prefer not to do stop-and-go play. I'm positive my games would last longer and have much higher scores if I did catch and pass balls more often than I do. And I do actually do that stuff sometimes. Depending on the...
Got some happy news. Next month, the biotech company I work for in Redwood City (in the northern part of Silicon Valley), is having their company picnic. When they announced it, they said that the "theme" to the picnic was the "Boardwalk". They'll have the food trucks, cotton candy...
I don't know. I actually kind of liked all of the card and pool based games. Then again, most of those were back in the EM and very early SS era. Those were simpler tables with simpler rule sets, and card and pool themes just flowed naturally with them. With the deeper rule sets of the later...
Exactly. There should be no licensing hiccups at all with that one. The other two still have potential lingering licenses to deal with, so if we're to see one of those three, then Class Of 1812 seems the easiest choice.
Another +1. The slider would work well. Plus, when you open The Pinball Arcade, I would love for the app to check the time, and use the time of day as the default setting for the slider (unless you select and save a specific fixed default setting). Playing at night? The slider defaults to...
Agreed, nudging, especially side nudging is very difficult in real life without tilting. It's true with the touchscreen that it's difficult or impossible to feature different strengths of nudge. But, with the accelerometers, I have to admit I was expecting them to be a bit better. Yes, you're...
Of Tales From The Crypt, Class of 1812, and Bram Stoker's Dracula, it seems that the easiest to license would be Class of 1812. Even though I think we've had enough horror tables for a while, FarSight does seem to have this fetish with them. And as it's approaching Halloween, having Haunted...
Hmmm. Does sound like a thorny issue. Much of the unpredictability inherent in real life pinball is generated by that spin. Sean, do you have any insights into the use of pseudo-random numbers playing or not playing any part in governing ball movement?
Actually, I'm quite curious how ball spin plays a role with the physics engine. I mean, obviously it should play some role, but now that I think of it, I don't really remember seeing much in the way of "English" on the ball in The Pinball Arcade. Has anyone else?
I think I know what you're observing, and it's more of an artistic bug than a mathematical one. If you have, say, 37,000 points and have 5,000 points of bonus to total 42,000, the way Big Shot's scoring reels work in The Pinball Arcade is to advance all reels simultaneously until they come to...
It's true. Any wholesale changes to ball behavior will attract a chorus of critics. And indeed, if the physics engine renders the digital objects on the table at a high enough resolution so that the motion of the round ball hitting a round or curved surface is unpredictable (as in the baseball...
