If we're going an "A" table, and two "lesser" tables, I think:
ToM
NGG
Hurricane
I expect somewhere down the line we get a MB+CftBL double pack, as has been suggested elsewhere (since both fall under the Universal Monsters license).
And probably an Elvira double-pack.
If you look at Zen's...
I'd recommend a 1060 also, but don't get the 3Gb version, get the 6Gb.
The 750ti is okay for TPA - if you can still find one - I'm not sure how it will be for FX3.
I found Bowen's AC/DC video helpful, especially if you're going for the Songs. Multiball is the key there. This is one of those tables where you want to be in multiball as much as possible.
It's decent, worth watching if you're a Queen fan. I thought it glossed over the AIDS issue a little too easily. And it messes with the timeline a bit, to allow for more dramatic effect. Apparently the BluRay/DVD will have an extended version of the Live Aid set, done...
There's a Stern Meteor prominently featured in one scene of the Queen/Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody.

That would almost make tournaments in those kinds of modes with PZ kind of random. You can get multiball very quickly from the first Comic award, otherwise it will take you a while to get multiball going.
Does the tilt warning bug still work to stop the timer for 10x scoring? I imagine it...
The scores on the instruction card are entirely cosmetic and have no relation to how the game is set up re: extra balls, replays, etc. It's just scanned from what's on the physical machine.
EBD is far from alone in this regard, most of the EMs and pre-System 11 SS tables are the same.

I'd throw a hissy fit if the rules hadn't been posted on rec.games.pinball already!!
If you want a real deep-dive into a table's rules, download the instruction manual for Wizard Of Oz (and I assume you can do the same for the other JJ tables). That's quite a read.
I assume. Licensing isn't just about the IP; its actor likenesses (there's a giant Alec Baldwin on the backglass), music, voiceovers, and who knows what else, that often need to be negotiated separately. The best insight we had into the process was with TAF.

According to Steam I have 1,995 hours logged in TPA. Pretty much twice any other game (Skyrim is next, at just over 1,000 hours between both PC editions).
Between FX2 and FX3, I have 48 hours, total.
So I guess, come back when you have 1,000+ hours logged in FX3, and we'll talk ;)
From a pure "best table" point of view, The Shadow makes sense for a license.
From a general public recognition point of view... eh not so much.
If they can get Indy, so much the better.
I'd really like Corvette though.
