I can barely remember seeing some dime games, but what I mostly remember is the last few years of the EM era, when you got 2 plays for a quarter.
Then, when the SS tables came around (I remember "Eight Ball" being one of the very first if not THE first I ever played), we all thought it was a...
Well, that works, I confirmed last night... at least, better than anything I've tried. Basically, when the ball comes from the lock eject, hit it as EARLY as you possibly can, and the trap door can be hit that way more often.
Got the million plus up to 10,000,000 a couple of times last night...
Just got 203M for #26.
The one thing I am missing in this game is to be able to hit that trap door shot with regularity. As another poster mentioned, it's actually easier when the ball is rolling to that upper flipper with some speed. When it's spit out from the lock, that sweet spot seems VERY...
This table frustrated me a bit at first because of SDTM drains, but three things help: 1) Always nudge if ball comes back down peasant ramp (damsel ramp is always safe), 2) although the castle can be hit from either flipper, it is always safer to shoot it with the left (if you have a right trap...
On Funhouse, when you get the cellar (or whatever it's called) award, it always just flashes very briefly on the display then disappears (this is on PS3/Vita)
Discovered something quite by accident last night. When you start the game, IMMEDIATELY launch the ball and shoot for Rudy. You can get it in his mouth while he's still laughing and you'll score a 250K "Rudy Gulp".
That will stop his stupid laugh. Heh. I supposed that could happen any time he...
True on IOS and Android, NOT true on PS3. You can stack up to 4 extra balls at a time.
(which is yet another reason not to have this game be a tournament game)
Elvira isn't a good one either, because you can rack up tons of extra balls and play indefinitely... UNTIL you get the game ending glitch. No fun. I spent three hours scoring over 400 Million, still on ball 1 with 4 extra balls in reserve. I could have gone on virtually forever, until the lock...
It's only "bite sized" until you get hooked on the pattern of 15k saucer shots, trap on left, post transfer to right, repeat...
But I know what you mean. I've put more time into Gorgar, BOP, and now Taxi than just about anything (although I've spent significant time on TOM and MM as well). I'd...
It's definitely easier on TPA. I've played the real table, and it's definitely harder to hit those ramps over and over with consistency. In TPA this is a breeze, which makes the million shot the thing to focus on. Additionally, on a real table you might find the cumulative jackpot up to 4...
