That's what I'm doing (currently chasing the top score)
It plays excellent and is NEARLY flawless and bug free... the only exception being the high score entry bug... long story short, just make sure you don't touch ANYTHING until the actual "enter initials" part appears on screen.
Okay well... just surpassed that score anyway... set the Vita down like it was toxic when I lost my last ball, heh... and it didn't happen. I'm thinking more and more that touching the back sensors actually trigger that bug. That's the only way it could have happened to me last time.
I'm coming...
No dude... that's the point... I DID wait. It happened on its own without me pressing ANYTHING. I was already fully aware of the bug and was conscious about NOT making it happen.
Perhaps I grazed the touch sensor on the back side and that caused it? I don't know, but I am 100% positive I didn't...
But don't you have to actually create an account with that name? At least in the case of PSN, making my name something different would involve registering a whole new account just to do it.
Okay, this now happened to me on the VITA last night, and I was pretty upset about it...
I had over 36 million... it would have brought me closer to the top 10... so, knowing about the bug and that it has been reported on more than just the PS3 version, I made sure not to press any buttons at...
Loving my new Vita... got 33M last night while sitting in bed... blew the doors off my previous high.
I'm going to have to continue to agree to just shooting the ramps over and over and getting the million. The only other thing I go for at all is the lock, just to get another 100k skill shot...
Kind of funny.. didn't think much about the name "ZENFTW" when I took over the top score on Gorgar a while back... but then finally, I was topped by "The Pinbug Arcade".... then recently, a much more ridiculous high score (13M +) from "www.zenstudios.com"
And then I finally put two and two...
I'm a new Vita owner, and I'd love to see more and more cross-controller... but for TPA, I just don't see why. What would be an example of taking advantage of this, for pinball? I don't see it.
DMD on VITA? Cool, but not earth shattering.
Shake to nudge? Well, don't forget the DS3 controller...
With the new PS3 patch that changed the plunger behavior, I found this hits the 100K skill shot nearly every time: Hold right stick up, then pull down and push all the way back up. Boom.
All I can say is, keep the balls in the upper playfield and the number one goal is to start multiball with all three up there.
Funny, I've never had the eject hole drain like that, not even once. Strange.
Magna save is very difficult to pull off... it was like that on the real table too.
When the PA's overlay for entering your initials comes up, if you start pressing the flipper buttons before Taxi's display is ready to accept the input, a new game will start instead. All the while, the PA's overlay for entering your initials stays on the screen. I don't imagine your score would...
It's too bad too, because it otherwise looks and plays excellent. I never had a ball transfer ramps, but the game ending ball lock glitch completely ruins it. A few of us here spent literally hours on games scoring in the hundreds of millions just to have this happen and waste the whole thing...
Just caught this at the end of the general info post:
"DLC Premium Table #1 Release Dates And Time Frames : The Twilight Zone should be available beginning late November 2012. Individual platform and device release time frames TBD."
Of course we all know Android and IOS will be first, but...
