...and the mischief makers would move the tape and sign to a fully functioning machine just to mess with the operator. :p
(been there, done that (from both sides)) :)
Hey, budtki -
I believe you may have missed my point, which I stated in my second paragraph above. The first paragraph was simply a personal observation which I thought might help illustrate the point of my second paragraph. I apologize if you took it as a condescending brag - it was most...
Interesting thought, but I (usually) experience pretty much the opposite. I am an OCD pinhead, looking to "beat" the machine (which for me is getting to wizard mode on one ball, or accumulating max EBs on every ball, etc.), and I typically play one machine for hours (days, sometimes) without...
My favorite Star Trek spoof, from a time way before the Interwebz:
(Of course somebody immortalized the original recording with video)
P.S. - Hey, Cap'n - your link tells me "an error occurred during validation" :^O
I did what SYT did - ranked every table from top to bottom and then fudged the 10-point system into that. Thus my 10's are Medieval Madness, Attack from Mars, and Centaur - my 1's are Harley Davidson, Pin*Bot, Goin' Nuts, and Dr. Dude.
I ranked them based on how much I like playing them in...
All ya gotta do is (a) trap a ball and hammer the easy shots during Raining Cats & Dogs and especially Anything Goes multiballs, and (b) play Skins and win a couple of times (and be able to recover your score if you lose).

Huh? I don't need no steenking deadzone! :^)
Honestly, I think ZP's nudging operation is pretty good as far as swipe nudging goes. I would still like tap nudging à la TPA, but if anything I'd like Zaccaria's swipe nudging to be a bit more sensitive; i.e. start the nudge with (just, I mean...
Doubtful; my d/l speed is ~5 times my u/l speed (>30 vs. 6Mbps), which doesn't explain a ~15x difference between backup and restore times. As a (former) programmer, the two-second restore time seems about right - 1 second to get the (very small, certainly no more than 10KB) data, and another...
THE GOVERNMENT IS DOWN, THE GOVERNMENT IS DOWN!
Anarchy in the streets!
I'm ashamed to live in this country.
Karl, can I come live with your machines? ;)
