I did have a ball locked and (a) not kicked out and (b) no new ball at plunger, effectively ending my game. I don't remember if the lock was for EB or regular ball lock, though. This was a couple of days ago.
Full nudging in all directions: left/right (x-axis), forward/backward (y-axis), and up/down (z-axis), and any combination thereof.
And it's controlled by retina tracking from the forward-facing camera. Wait, that wouldn't be touch nudging, would it?

Completing Wizard goals enables the option to turn the tilt sensor off for that table, which allows you to nudge as much as you want without tilting the machine.
The act of nudging works regardless.
