I'll be there Friday, from opening (11? Noon? Last year the website said noon but they opened at 11. Color me confused) until some point, usually 4ish. Once again I will be there to play and look but not purchase.

What are the specs of your laptop? In particular, is it using integrated graphics, or a discrete graphics card? If it's using integrated graphics, you probably won't be able to play TPA.
Since it's a new laptop I assume it came with Windows 10. The easiest controllers to use with Windows are...
It can be collected up to 3 times per game. If you collect the Special from the left lane on your next ball, you can collect the EB on the next ball, and so on. So effectively you can get an EB this way on balls 1, 2, and 3, if you get the Special each time as well.
Oh, I was only on about 150B on Ball 2 during a stacked Total Annihilation+Martian Multiball with Victory Laps active and a heldover bonus multiplier approaching 200x.
And the game f&$*@(g went and crashed on me.
It's true to say that there cannot be an "emulation issue" with any of the SPA tables (at least, the modern Sterns - I don't know about the legacy Sega/DE/Stern tables ported over from TPA).
This is because there isn't actually any emulation going on. Farsight have got the raw source code...
8 Ball Deluxe is a great intro table too. Simple enough to get right into, not frustratingly difficult, and crazy addictive.

I heard something about re-doing backglasses? I guess that's an easy win because you can do that without dismantling the tables. Except we very rarely see the backglasses :( CV would be an obvious one to do since we do see it more often thanks to the cannon. HRC, Cyclone, Safe Cracker, and...
Please. Fix. Left. Ramp. In. CFTBL.
Every physical CFTBL I've played, this ramp is a monster. Getting a clean shot on this ramp requires effort and accuracy. Missing it should be dangerous. I think the main problem is table rake... it needs to be a bit steeper so the ball comes down to the...
Time for some updates, now we're done with S6 and know about the first in S7....
First some new additions to the "played" list:
*update* 13. Harley Davidson - played one at the York PA show
*update* 52. POTO - played one at the York PA show
Now for S6:
74. Big Hurt - never seen one
75. 8...
The ROM can only register local high scores as high as 9,999,999 - that's the maximum score it can display, after all, so that makes sense.
But the ROM will also roll over scores after 9,999,990; for high scores, it knows you rolled the table and credits you with 9,999,999. TPA keeps track of...
I think that's the problem right there. Samsung really screwed over Galaxy Tab 3 / Galaxy Tab Pro owners by never even pushing an upgrade to 5.0. After I'm done with my current Tab S, I'm probably done with Samsung; the bloatware and enormous delays in getting OS upgrades is just too much to bear.
So who is going to try and re-create various (real) table layouts with this? Will sharing be possible?
Maybe watch out for "Flesh!", "Stair Trick", and others in the future, eh?
