... you should be able to run @ 4K with that rig. I've not had a chance to test out the new patch yet but I am using DSR 4K on my 1060 with no problems. At least, I think I am. Setting the back buffer to 4K appears to have the same effect as DSR, it's quite noticeable in SPA where a lot of...
Some Tier 1 modes, it's best to go for Away Mission as soon as you can. Others, you are better off waiting. I believe in Space Jump, if you go for Away Mission right away, you can't get a Gold Medal in Tier 1!
Multiballs in Star Trek aren't as common as in, say, AC/DC, so while it's...
It's nice to see some people throw some love out for the Premiers! I'm still going to rank them lower on the totem pole, though.
#1 EBD - the ultimate time-waster. I've played this way more than any other table since I got my hands on it, especially the Android version.
#2 Dr Who - I'm a WHO...
Well, we already know there will be a Season 7, since Farsight straight up told us so.
I think they can stretch out a Season 8, especially if they can shake the licensing tree hard enough.
It's not perfect. If you play with a 4K backbuffer (and I recommend this, if your GPU can handle it - it really cuts down on aliasing) you still need to Alt+Enter twice to get it to show at the proper resolution. And there are 4 loading screens.
Just came across this Kickstarter. It's already fully-funded and they're driving for their first stretch goal it seems (and look likely to make it).

In Pinball Showdown players are the pinball steering into a...
I figured out the Judge Dredd controller initial entry thing a year ago... just re-map the LT and RT mappings to the D-pad (or anything else to your liking that isn't the the triggers or bumpers).
From what I gather it's impossible, except for the aforementioned Gord. If he's not around, it can't get done. Be aware that this guy pays for the hosting of this forum out of his own pocket, one of the reasons it stays ad-free.

Just started watching it (for the first time...) last night. 3 episodes in so far. We just switched from HBO with our cable to HBO Now, I was testing the service....
Incidentally, at least on FiOS, HBO costs more than HBO Now (19.99 per month vs 14.99 per month), and HBO Now has more content...
Not everyone has this problem, which is probably why it is proving so difficult to pin down. If nobody at Farsight can reproduce the issue with the hardware they have available, it's not going to be easy to fix.
Right now Android (and iOS) don't support the kind of dynamic lighting available on PC and current-gen consoles.
I would never recommend getting TPA on a console, since patching, support, and table releases are not frequent.
So right now if you want the lighting effects, get it on PC. Note...
Hands-down the best device for playing TPA is a gaming-quality PC. Doesn't have to be super-specced, but don't skimp either. A recent-generation mid-range GPU (GTX 950/960, 1050/1060, or the AMD equivalents), and a decent i5 processor.
Platform-wise, Android and Steam typically get updates...
