As has been mentioned many times before, it's not just the cost of the license (for all we know, it might be less than, say, TAF or AC/DC), but getting Disney (who own the rights to Indiana Jones) to even pick up the 'phone. If the rights holders don't even want to talk, no amount of money is...
Okay I know it's too late for this week, but have you tried asking Farsight what's going on with WMS tables and why the run of Premiers / Gottliebs / Alvin G tables?
How do we know there are WMS/Bally talks? Who at Farsight has ever said anything about this? Did someone ask them about it on the Twitch stream last night (and if not, why not?)
Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, no longer receives security patches. It's not unreasonable for anyone to discontinue support, particularly when security vulnerabilities in the OS might be used to launch an attack or some kind of hack attempt on their servers.
XP has had its day...
The final table pack of Season 6 will be Pack #61. Dr Who Masters Of Time is a "bonus" table pack (despite being numbered #58), which means there will be 11 packs in Season 6 instead of the "traditional" 10.
+1 on Surf N Safari. As I've said before, it's the least Premier-y of the Premiers. It's a pretty straightforward, "traditional" layout with shots that make sense and flows quite nicely, and a theme and features that fit well together. It doesn't have some of the jarring, "wtf?", moments that...
Stern are not responsible for the re-release. The Australian company that still owns the rights to the WMS tables and who are behind the re-release are using Stern's factory to manufacture it, that's all.
That was the intent. (My wife got me Vols 2 and 3 if The Pinball Compendium for my birthday. There are many fascinating interviews and insights from designers, engineers, programmers, and so on. Anecdotes such as the inspiration for the mini playfield on The Shadow are amongst them.)

They couldn't hold it back forever! Even though we're getting the hint in a couple of days, we can still get on with guessing what's going to be in Table Pack #60.
Remember, FS threw a spanner in the works by making Dr Who: Masters Of Time Table Pack #58, meaning that Season 6 will have 11...
Flight 2000 is not part of the DE/Sega/Stern lineage.
A little bit of history:
In the late 1970s, Chicago Coin was bought out by Sam Stern (Gary Stern's father), who until that point had worked for Williams (or was it Bally... memory is fuzzy... one of those two at any rate), and renamed Stern...
It depends on the table, and it's not generally the textures that sharpen up. If the textures are 4K to begin with, you're essentially downsampling anyway so there's no benefit to DSR. However for rendered objects such as habitrails, playfield holes and switches, it does make a difference...
