Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

I say good idea although maybe not top priority as in Firepower. I think it's not very dangerous to ricochet a shot of those light kickback targets. I get shots trough "the Drop" and to the left into the "No Way Out". You do get a lot of those targets for free in normal play though, especially...

Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

I nudge predominantly left/right with a little bit of up nudging. I almost never use diagonal nudging. I use touch scheme F on iOS and use my index fingers to nudge, while keeping my thumbs on or near the flipper areas. It's get automatic after a while and for me it meant going from mediocre to...

Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

Bahnzo: I get what you are saying, but it's just 2 different goals to shoot for. Playing STTNG is probably the poster boy (or are pins female? :) they sure can be fickle sometimes, sorry Maggie ;) ) for this: top scores come from only playing Borg MB, just having fun on the table means playing...

Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

Well, bit the bullet and upped my best from 5.9B to 8B, couple of nice Whirlpool Challenges and that extra ball trick from Gus worked. Got also 2 drains and a tilt from that though, so timing is still crucial. Drains occured I believe from nudging to late to the left, which gave a ricochet from...

    White Water tactics and strategies?

Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

Well, my point is not going that way because as EldarOfSuburbia already mentioned, the lock targets time out faster than you can lit them after 3rd/4th MB. I would rely on getting your points from the Whirlpool Challenge which requires you to control one ball on the left flipper, and shooting...

Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

Hi Gus, Will definitely try your extra ball nudge! I found direct shooting for the target very risky, leads to a lot of tilt-inducing nudging to keep that ball from the outlane....

Table of the Week Club...week 9: WHITE WATER!

The math is clear, but risk/reward leads me back to the Whirlpool Challenge. I haven't had much luck trying to control MB, do you intentionally drain one ball for that? I always try to keep all balls in play as long as I can on most tables figuring that that will maximize scoring while...

    Nudge options.

Nudge: touchscreen Invert: off Scheme: F Show touch: off (but I played a while with it on when I started out playing and it was possible to display it) I only use left/right nudge, and sometimes up nudge. The only game I tried to nudge diagonally is Centaur but that didn't work out very good. I...

Table of the Week Club...week 8: HIGH SPEED!

58.8M for 14th on the leaderboards already in the pocket, so I'm probably going to skip this one. The grind is too boring and I'm still havin' fun on TAF!

iOS - Bug Transfered to a new iPad and lost Season One-tables

I did the same thing, migrated from iPad 2 to Air 2, did not have a problem. If you have a good remote backup, I would just delete the whole app and do a fresh reinstall to see if those tables return.

Best option with each new ball.

Borg MB is the only thing to go for because of the progressive worth of the jackpots. Lock ball is a good way to start the first few balls. It will not give this option after those. There is also a tricky thing to think about with hold multiplier, this can prevent getting the 8x bonus extra ball...

Table of the Week Club...week 6: NO GOOD GOFERS!

Good insights, I'll try that nudge to see if I can get it to work. Do you use a straight left nudge because I'm also thinking upwards to stop momentum of the ball?

Table of the Week Club...week 6: NO GOOD GOFERS!

Upped my best for the week to 460M, can't get a constant level of play. Building up a lot of extra balls, then burning 2-3 a time. I guess I'm not that motivated this week, maybe I'll give it another go this weekend.

Table of the Week Club...week 6: NO GOOD GOFERS!

Does anybody experience a "camera stuck on plunger" when a ball gets pushed back in the plunger lane after being stuck behind the upper right flipper? This happened to me twice during MB and corrected itself only after plunging that ball and draining back to one ball, costing me my MB. I don't...

    Bugs

I think "Quick Multiball" is meant to be funny as it is said really quick, which may sound like it is cut off. I can hear the whole quote though. And those balls flying out the table is quite a regular thing to happen on TPA tables. On Flight 2000 this can happen even when you are plunging the...

    Cyclone

Also +1 for Black Hole and especially Haunted House. That last one is an impressive monster of a table in which the three layers are really fun and well implemented. Also the physics in the real table are less on steroids than the TPA version. Honorable mention for the start of TAF MB, it's not...

Table of the Week Club...week 6: NO GOOD GOFERS!

Played the table a couple of times this week, best score was in the region of 360M, about half my best game. It's very hard to gauge scoring on this table because of the steady progressive scale on which you can score with MB (Super) Jackpots and Drive Range going up incrementally. 1B seems...
