Can't say that I experience a difference, the only thing that I have seen changed is that the lowest bumper is now working correctly (this one was permanently lit in the previous version, now it starts unlit and flashes correctly). Maybe the slingshots are a bit less reactive/forcefull but that...
Well this is already quite an exhaustive thread. I do have some minor points to add and try to describe a near failsafe method to get the EB from digital pinball.
First off: an already mentioned ploy to get to 8x bonus quickly on every ball. I want to repeat this because I think it's priority...
Hi all,
I'm stuck on TOM with the 10B rollover problem. Right now I have five highscores ranging from 6.9B to 8.6B. I actually already scored 16.4B but because of the rollover bug I couldn't input my initials (the table only recognizes the single digit 6.4B behind the decimal place, and that's...
I had some heartbreak too, just scored 16B but my highscore list already had a 7B+ as lowest score, so my score didn't trigger the input initials screen.... Arggghhhhh!
I posted this in the tips/tricks thread
Hit it fast: right orbit
Hit it slightly slower: lit roll 'n win and or collect EB
Right flipper trap to right orbit: good find although I concur with Vikingerik that for an IRL cabinet that shouldn't work. Not a real easy shot though!
My best game up...
I have some advice towards shooting the right orbit. This is very tricky to do from a standstill ball from the left flipper, and risky too because if you overshoot to the right it will surely drain after some ricochets in the sling area. Getting a sure shot towards the right orbit depends on the...
I like it so far, it's a bit drainy but those situations can be read somewhat so nudging timely to prevent stuff from happening is possible. Just playing without knowing the rules seems to suggest that it has quite a deep ruleset, but reading above makes me wonder a bit if this is really the...
I played a few of those tables, but I can't say that I find those on-playfield LED displays useful. It's one of 2 scenarios: or I'm in the thick of things and don't have time to check anything, or I have ball control and more than enough time to check out the DMD. But it sure looks cool,

iPad 2, iOS 6 also. Any other tables affected? If not then this is a strange bug because Bride itself was not updated, so it couldn't be a tablespecific issue. Or is my reasoning flawed?
That's a good catch there Eaton! I also still have my 26k at Gamecenter. Now the question is how that score is gonna react to changes in TPA. I haven't bettered any scores since this update, so I'm curious what will happen. I can think of 3 scenarios: 1. Gamecenter will update to the new, lower...
I encountered a strange bug with LCA: I got 5 aces as hand which rewarded me with an instant special. Then I heard about three special "knocker sounds" and I was brought to the input initials screen like my game was over. I actually was at the first ball. Then the game returned me to the plunger...
Same here (iOS 6, iPad 2). But I would like to add that some people also mentioned losing HOF points from their earlier total. I experienced this too, about 900 points. I found out that I lost them to Junkyard where I previously had 1000 HOF points for a 188M game, now it's down to 94 HOF...
I also lost 900 HOF points, but I think this has to do with a needed fix of the not properly scaled HOF points for Junkyard. I had a 188M game in my second try on that table when it came out, which gave me instant 1000 HOF points with room to spare. After this update it gives me 94 HOF points...
41 going on 42 this year. My college years coincided with the Golden Age of pinball (that would be the '90s for you youngsters) when there were still pins set up in local pubs and disco's, even here in the Netherlands.
I think this a fun table with nice animations. I thoroughly hate Dr. Dude with a vengeance, but in this table the art style and goofy humor don't annoy me for some reason. It may be a tad easy because in only my second game without knowing the rules, I scored 188M and reached the end game twice...
Night and I share the same birth year, 1972. Although I have vague memories of standing behind a pinball machine at 7, my main experience with pinball was in the DMD-style era of the '90s when I was in college. Out of nostalgia I always tended to gravitate towards those machines. However, TPA...
