I just gave the demo another try and it is fantastic compared to the PS3 version. However, I am still hesitant to make the purchase because FS said that they would be changing the lighting and that is a big reason I don't play the PS3 version. The tables look amazing the way they do now and if...
While I don't think that I have seen the exact problem you are talking about, it cannot happen on the real table since there is a metal wall behind it as shown in this picture. However, based on the number of other places the ball seems to clip through the walls on this table, I have no doubt...
Thanks for all of the updates. I have been holding out on the 360 version of TPA until the DLC comes out, but will probably splurge a little early and get those goals on the current tables out of the way.
Well they better get that table into TPA quick because the theme music in Pin*Bot is fantastic. That table is really the complete package when it comes to visuals, sound, and gameplay.
In addition to that, I hope that they give us the option to sort the leaderboards per device so that my PS Vita scores are not being compared against people on mobile devices or the PS3.
At least that solves the mystery of most of the top scores on the leaderboards on some of the tables. I always wondered how people were able to get some of those scores.
I was just playing a game of Blackhole and I managed to get the three ball multiball. All 3 balls made it to the upper playfield and one drained down the left outlane. After that, I had one ball on the top playfield and one in the bottom with the gate open. I screwed up while juggling both...
Unfortunately I did not have any troll bombs so that was not really an option. I don't even really have a problem with getting trapped behind the troll. I am thinking that the other problem may have been caused by all 3 of the other balls going down the outlane at the exact same time and maybe...
NOTICE: This is not a bug; thanks to Mark Wyda for explaining what happened.
I just had my best game ever on MM ruined by a bug and I want to know if it is a problem with the rom controlling the game or just TPA since almost every good game I play now is ruined by a bug or a glitch and this is...
Thanks for mentioning the fact about the lock being lit. I play on the PS Vita and although the Ringmaster has thrown the ball on to the ramp many times, I can only recall a seeing the animation a single time that stood out. I will try to pay closer attention to the state of the lock when the...
Indeed it is a feature of the table. There is even a "sneak-in" animation that is supposed to play when this does occur. However, I think there may be a bug since I rarely ever see it when the ball does get thrown up there.
I really don't see what this has to do with TPA on the Xbox 360. Yes, there have been issues with the release due to Microsoft's policies, however Farsight has handled the entire situation with utmost professionalism and has given us more information than any other developer would have. Once...
The 360 version is getting the exact same treatment. However, due to the issues they are having with Microsoft they have been unable to update the game with all of the improvements. Eventually things will get sorted out and hopefully both consoles will be great experiences.
Hopefully they will be able to convince Microsoft to allow the release to go through and have it fixed in a future update. I am looking forward to purchasing and playing the game on the Xbox 360 mainly for the better controller and for the separated high-scores list.
I found the post on FB so it is true. That is terrible news, but I do understand why Microsoft has these quality control measures in place, it prevents you from getting tables that look like this.
