We are aware of this issue. I'm not sure what the solution is yet. The only solutions I know of are quite a lot of work, and I'm not sure if Valve will allow those.
This will be fixed in the future. I hooked it up for the next table, but it'll need to be done per table, so I'll do each old table as I fix other issues in them.
When I was a kid, I was playing a game at home, got the #1 high score, and my brother entered my high score name that started with F, and not the kind of initials my parents would have been happy to see. So I had to beat the highest score ten times before my dad got home from work.
All of the tables and content are in one package, this makes it easy to update everything.
If you have enough room to install you can manually delete tables from the resource folder where it's installed. File names start with a T, end in .rez. Make sure you only delete tables you don't want...
Steam version has done pretty well from my understanding. Our engine guy is on vacation til mid January, then I imagine he'll work on upgrading PC.
The lighting tech does hande the gi strings on the table.
I don't think there is anything we can do to help. There is no pro upgrade content option on the store.
You'll need to contact Valve/Steam and ask if there is a way you can pay the difference and upgrade or buy pro and get a refund on non pro.
This should be fixed now. I also commented in that link.
The drop target starts in the down position on the real table to make it easier to get the first multiball. After that it should be in the up position. Just as superballs said.
And for the comment about "old tables". I didn't mean...
Version 1.21.3 is up with a fix for Whirlwind.
Season 3 will be 10 tables. We don't have the bandwidth to do 2 new tables each month. In the past we've done 1 new and 1 old. The old table was less work.
When I'm doing development (I run in windowed mode) if I get any notifications, like new email, etc. The frame rate drops to 30fps. I'm not sure what causes it, something with windows hogging resources I'm guessing. Usually goes away after 5-10 seconds.
