For the record, the conversation Josh and I were having on Facebook was actually starting to develop into some constructive feedback about specific ways to improve the product. Unfortunately FarSight deleted the conversation.

I've never found that on my Nexus 7 2013. I've paused for 20 minutes and take with no issues. I generally clear my Recent Apps list as a general practice before playing any game though.

Found an issue with the HUD which might explain some if the perf issues. Maybe. The bottom row of the HUD isn't refreshing after game ends. It continues to remain stuck through the game. It only refreshes when the game ends. Then it continues to display the first frame until the game...
