My best score this week is 88M. I'm dreading this table coming up in the tournament though because I've also had games top out at < 500K for no other reason than I plunged the ball 3 times....
+1 on the "Ideal Solution".
I'd add that by moving all the credits into their own menu, you don't need to put the word "Credits" at the end of each line, thereby solving the "Addams Family Credi" cutoff issue.
Ooh... how about they've secretly signed a deal to do TSPP? Say Matt Greoning helped them personally to get the licensing sorted out....
Yeah, that's got to be it. I have to be absolutely concrete in the utter impossibility of the rumors that I hear whispered from the top of my head. People...
The Android beta release is what gets my clock ticking. Will that be this Friday (15th)? Or next (22nd)? Not sure I want to wait an extra week this month now.
Well, we're talking about an all-but-confirmed table for #38, not #39. Back on topic with baseless rumor-mongering and ill-informed guesses as to what Table #39 is and why shutyertrap is so excited. It's probably The Shadow. But like I said - please let it be Jurassic Park. Please.
I don't think there's enough in Pro to warrant upgrading. Having said that, I'll continue to purchase Pro Season Passes for PC on day 1. On Android, I'm happy with regular versions and I'd have no interest in buying upgrades.
I had a quick play of Xenon at a show recently. Just a couple of games. It was interesting enough, but I didn't play long enough to get a real feel for it.
I think it's fair to say it appears to be more than just a one-shot table, but extended play of TPA's version will tell.
I suspect the rollover detection might possibly be fixed, though it would be difficult. I mean say you build the Creature Super Jackpot to > 10B. It's not impossible, I've managed to get it to around 8B. How on earth do you build rollover detection to know that you've scored a 10.xB jackpot...
WW is going to see some fun score variance, I can tell. With EBs you can smooth out the house balls, but even the best players might get 2 house balls in a game. The plunger is so inconsistent. From a full plunge you will sometimes get the ball going round the loop to the top flipper...
I hasten to add that this list was put together by me and is my own personal opinion, based mostly on my playing experience but also on what I've read in various forum threads. Quite a lot has to do with the Wizard Goals, though.
It was a while back, but here's my reasons for the tables that...
I was too busy shouting at every house ball last night (I had a LOT) to care about what's lit when and what the fastest scoring strategies are. This table hates me, which is a shame because I like it a lot.
You score faster, I guess, but it's not worth trying to set up. Like you have 2 locks and Quick MB lit at the Cellar, why not stack 'em. I did actually manage it the "hard" way too by lighting the drop target with the ramp shot that locked the second ball, then hitting the target before it...
Close this thread now it's back?
What with this and the PC DX11 thread getting closed, what is there left? The cab support threads I suppose but they're not exactly the same hotbed of desperate hope and forlorn waiting.
On PC what happens most is a strong shot from the right flipper will bounce in and out of the right Cellar scoop. Much like on TAF, it's more reliable to backhand it.
WW is really tough with house balls, and does not let you get away with mistakes. Missing a shot usually results in a ball...
