What are the main differences between UIV and V? The negatives about 5 I’ve heard revolve around the season passes and DLC, but I haven’t heard too much about what separates them gameplay-wise which is what I’m more curious about. I played IV a tiny bit when it first came out on 360, but never...
Thanks for the input, fellas. It's very helpful, so keep it coming.
I'm leaning towards scooping up Tekken 7, but I might try to hold out for a winter sale if I can wait that long. I probably should've just bought it last week on sale, but it'll probably get even cheaper.
One game I forgot to...
So we've had a ton of discussion about fighting games in the MAME thread, but I figured a dedicated thread would be cool, especially for modern stuff (but also feel free to talk about anything fighting game related, new or old).
What modern fighting games do you guys play?
I recently bought...

In that case, Willy and Snoop can invite Cheech and Chong to the party as well!
I remember back in the day, if a buddy scored an ounce, that was enough to sell a big bag to three other buddies and still have a fat sack for yourself. My wife laughed pretty hard when I read that article to her...

Better late than never, eh? It’s funny you mention that as my wife and I are re-watching it for the 2nd time and just watched that episode tonight. They did a great job of capturing the atmosphere and feel, all the way down to the scene where they’re scrounging quarters in advance heh.
Love that song! Eddie Hazel was an incredible guitarist. He’s up there near Hendrix in my book. Have you ever listened to his rare solo album called Games, Dames, and Guitar Thangs? (even the name kicks ass heh). You can stream the full version of it here...
Right on, boys. It truly was a magical time. I’m thrilled that we have all this great emulation, not only to keep the nostalgia alive, but so many of the games hold up extremely well. Even into the 90’s, the arcades were always a notch or two better than what we had at home (unless you were...
I feel ya! I've been working on this way too much...although I'm getting to the point now where I can just enjoy it and play, so the hard work is paying off.
Right on, I’m right there with you. My mom told me a story about how she used to set my baby seat up on a pinball machine while her and my dad played stuff like Galaga and Dig Dug for the first time (I was born in Jan of ‘81), so we were always there as a family from even before I can remember...
My main setup is on a 55” TV with my 2 player arcade stick + trackball, but since I have everything on a USB flash drive, I can jump back and forth to my laptop when I just want to relax on the couch with a gamepad or even take it to a buddy’s house and plug into his PC.
