That person was me regarding DE flipper mechanics in an IRC chat on #pinballarcadefans. :-)
And it was a common catch-cry of the era that operators (including one I worked for as a 14 year old) referred to DE tables as "two-ramps-a-popper-and-a-feature" ("popper" being a vertical up-kicker)...
I just want to say thanks to all who voted for Flight 2000. It has really taken me by surprise. What a great table. I am playing it more than any other.
I find I gravitate to the older tables at the moment because what you need to do to win on these games is simple, and fun for short gameplay...
What a great collection. Shame to see so many service dots on the displays. These guys must be up against it maintaining all these. Also disappointing to see that the three-bank drops on Back To The Future were broken (one missing). No lock means you're gonna have a bad time...
*Bug*
Clipped graphics on the fly over of pinbot table.
*Details*
The right sling has a missing rubber and clipped rendering on the post at a low angle.
*Device*
TF300T 4.2.1 stock
I think the file must still be syncing. I get a download error at the moment.
Great work on the performance work Ryan. Sounds like those tweaks will make a big difference moving forward.
Should we delete any tables and reload the res files?
Turns out they will be getting a national release here in Aussie through EB GAMES for about $59. Unless moga can ship to me for less than $10, I'll be waiting until August.
None of your offline scores will be posted.
Perhaps when Ryan has a chance to implement Google Play Games framework into the Android version, this will change.
Reading the info on the developer docs, the following good news is present on the following page...
If they suggest that type of cost to ship to me here in Aussie, I'll tell them to cancel my order immediately. I would have given them the feedback that if I can get their product on eBay cheaper than they can sell and ship it, then their business model is fundamentally flawed.
I've just gone an ordered (well submitted an order and I'm awaiting a postage quote from MogaAnywhere.com) for a Moga Pro also.
I really hope I don't get stung too hard with shipping. Shipping to the land downunder is notoriously high, and I have to say I'm a little annoyed that you have to go...
So far I've seen a fairly encouraging selection of controllers supported in the Beta builds for controller support.
Android 4.2.x has no support for Wiimote and Classic Controller due to this controller being 'pairless'.
I have seen mention of XB360 controllers and of course the...
Yes please to Google Play Games framework. And controller mapping formally implemented. These are currently my top two new android features I'd love to see implemented.
Perhaps an Android toast message or in-game message could be handy here.
Perhaps something like:
"Entitlements Server Error: Global scores, global leaderboards, Kickstarter entitlements, and Tournaments are currently unavailable."
I'm sure you're probably already onto a way to better handle...
Interesting ideas on implementation.
Because the tokens are issued purely randomly, it might be a bit tricky to have them as wizard goals. However having a space for each token in the extras menu greyed out could be a great way to motivate you to "catch them all".
