I think the General forum thread has some further info about this. http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/949-Music-Overlap-on-Tables?highlight=music+overlap
It's also discussed in the Funhouse forum, which is where the "canned" attract music issue was first encountered...
What would be the 1.0.11 version of the app has been released to Google Play.
Let's load up the thread with bug observations. Be as detailed as possible when you observe something. The devil is in the detail sometimes ;)
That's what google is for ;)
I think the general audience on these forums are probably people with at least a basic understanding of techie stuff.
If not, we certainly know how to use google.
I now know what vertex count means, and can add that to my geeky words store in my brain. So...
This is probably an admin overhead that you guys can't afford, but on those issues you've fixed, would it be possible to update the threads that report them and just put "Fixed, will be released in a future update" or something like that.
The forum is the only public source of fix info we have...
Ha, I'm glad it wasn't just me that experienced a ball lock from the "wrong end". I popped a ball into the ball lock when it ricocheted off the wall. Have not been able to do it again. Need to practice more I think :P
I haven't experienced the game lock up you describe though.
After some googling, "higher vertex count" means tables will have smoother round edges.
So less hexagonal round targets, etc. Will be very cool once implemented, and will make playing on large screen devices a whole new experience.
Persistent login happens for me as well on the TF300T
Facebook login seems to be a little hit and miss. I don't get the expected "you've already authenticated this app. Tap Okay" screen I used to get. If the logon authentication system just checks to see if the app is authorized now, then this...
In the Android thread for 1.0.10, Ryan suggested that Farsight would move away from SS script-jobs because they tend to cause them more trouble than it's worth. When they get the emulation system worked out for the older pins, they'll start releasing more of these again.
I think it's a good...
That's great to hear. Hopefully the development queue will clear itself of SS script-jobs soon, and you guys can focus on pushing out emulations, with a greater degree of accuracy to the original.
I'd imagine fixing an issue with an emulation table is degrees simpler than trying to work out...
Hey Ryan
I'm posting this thread link in here, because Black Knight has some serious discrepancies between the IRL table and the scripted one.
Fuseball's 5 minute demo kind of sums up the visual bugs perfectly (at least for me)...
+1 to all the things!
In the meantime, darkuni posted his Wiimote controller How-to in the Android thread.
If you are on Android, and you have superuser, you can use a hardware controller to flip, use magnasave, and tilt. If you want to use analog sticks for plunger control, try sixaxis...
Well, um. Yeah....
No wonder people aren't liking Black Knight on TPA. The table is totally neutered compared to Fuseball's IRL demo.
No lightshow, which actually shows what a unique table this actually is, and why it should be included in TPA.
I'm going to put it out there (and I promise I...
Regarding the UI, just put a 3rd party launcher on it like GoLauncher EX or Nova. Then no matter what device you run, your UXP will always be the same.
I've got GoLauncher EX on the SGS2, and GoLauncher HD on the TF300T. Both are free. Both are awesome.
Came here to report the "2" animation on my Android TF300T. The "2" animation continues to happen after the game has completed as well. The display resets when you start a new game.
Great to have you on here Fuseball. I got hooked on a lot of VPT recreations that never made it to Australia (CAPCOM tables like BBB), or were before the time I began to get interested in pinball. Safe Cracker one one of my all-time favourite VPT recreations.
I only hope the Safe Cracker table...
Will the "Launch Ball" button also receive the same treatment? Playing games like Monster Bash and Medievil Madness makes it very hard to hit the Launch Ball button in the top left hand corner of the screen.
