I believe to get the Wizard goal, you have to have all 5 madness options lit for 4-ball multiball play: damsel, catapult, peasant, joust, and trolls all must be lit before starting the madness. It worked for me this way.
Yes, the PC release honeymoon is over for me. When I read that the PC would be updated to DX11 and PS4 quality lighting in a few months, I just moved on and put this game back on the "shelf" for now. I'm not anticipating any updates to happen until sometime next year. I log into Steam almost...
At work now, so I can't check for myself. Does the option to disable the tilt become available after completing the wizard goals? This might only apply to Pro tables.
It seems like the console and PC versions are behind the iOS and Android platforms in many aspects with regards to the user interface and certain game mechanics.
I'd be happy with another stable build release. Thought we were ready for this the same day the portrait patch came out, but that...
If FarSight has to exhaust time and energy to make cabinet mode a reality, I would expect them to find a way to make it a la carte to separate the cost for those that want it and those that do not. To me it is still a bargain, either way. In my opinion, a cabinet mode will never add enough...
My Pinball History
I was born in the late 60's and always had an affinity for electronics and games.
These are the tables that are special to me that are not available yet for Pinball Arcade.
1966 Williams 8 Ball with the fantastic 500 point loop in the middle of the table.
1980 Bally...
No problems at all.
Played Fun House at 1080p, 16x AA, PP enabled, and ball reflection at high. No stuttering or lag, even through a couple of multi-ball plays.
FRAPS reported solid frames in a short benchmark of nearly 3.5 minutes.

I just picked up one of these for my non-pivoting 27" monitor.

I really like the monitor I have now, but it does not have a 90° pivot available with the default stand. The new stand should...
Analog nudge is still not working and I'm not sure it is on anyone's radar to get corrected. Is this something that can't be easily fixed in a patch? Are the developers satisfied that a full digital implementation, similar to how it works on tablets now? The total silence about this has me...
Until an analog nudge is working, the game simply does not feel complete to me. I know some tables have a few issues, even major ones, but I can play on one of the others for now until those problems get sorted out, but I can't really enjoy any table without a nudge similar to what I was using...
You are correct, I was apparently not saving my operator menu settings. I went back in this time and when I made a change it gave me a countdown (3..2..1) and actually kept the setting when I closed and then re-opened the operator door.
I changed the Family Mode setting to off on Medieval...
I have not tested this exhaustively, however, I believe you can simply turn off the operator's menu and the game reverts back to the default setting. In fact, if I turn the operator menu off, I seem to lose any of the changes I made when I turn the operator menu back on again.
The factory setting for both is set to Family Mode No/Off; however, this game's default appears to have family mode enabled. When I turn the operator's menu off, then back on, it resets everything back to default, and my screen shots are displaying what my game uses as the default setting.
It is probably the FCC that determined what could be allowed or not, back when the table was first introduced to the public. They are the US equivalent of the obscenity police. Not sure how this works internationally. The whole thing is just absurd, in my opinion. Medieval Madness is another...
A Steam friend's list is a start, but I'd like to see tournaments with no extra balls allowed and/or with time limits imposed. Maybe we could start a little friendly tournament from these forums? I'm open to any suggestions as to how this could be done.
I like the idea of having an option to put the backglass on a separate screen for anyone with multiple displays and the hardware to take advantage of it. Something along the lines of how Future Pinball can be set up to work. But then, we are getting closer to talking about cabinet mode, or at...
Absolutely not. I've been using the default controller mappings using the left thumb stick on a wired Xbox 360 controller for nudging. I've never had the game auto-nudge without my direct input. I've not played all the tables yet with the PC version, so perhaps this was table specific...
Sometimes it seems like the nudge may have been much smaller, but any time I capture the ball and try to reproduce this, I can never make it happen. I think it is just an illusion for me. Been using stick extenders on all of my controllers for years now, which gives me greater control. I...
Assuming the steam default folder is used with Windows 7 the executable should be in the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PinballArcade
