Favorite country that is not my own would be Australia - it's beautiful, the people are great, and I dig the accent.
What's your favorite breakfast cereal?
To me the skull is too round. It looks happy, like a jack o lantern version or something. The nose hole needs a little more angle in it, and the teeth need to look meaner. And to be sure, chrome would really sell it.
Just a quick question...
To all of those that want the South Park machine, how many have actually played it? I love South Park, but its a horribly repetitive table!
I play on the PS3, so I don't know if this will help the same Dan on your iPhone...
To hit the snackbar, start by practicing with the right flipper. With the ball cradled, let it just barely roll and then flip. Keep doing that, letting it roll a little more each time until you hit that...
Okay, so it's been quite a while since I've posted any updates.
That's because I haven't had time to do anything!
I sanded flat all my inserts and was all set to glue them back into the table, but then life got in the way. First it was not being able to get in sync with my buddy who has the...
Wait, on one hand you're asking for the stand alone game, but on the other complaining that they should all just be one app? Which do you want?! Hehe. So Zen is merely covering as large a purchasing market as they can. Many people have no clue about Zen pinball, but they search Star Wars to see...
Either people have never played them or the videos don't do 'em justice, cuz NBA Fastbreak and Dirty Harry should really be doing better than they currently are. NBA has the most unique scoring of any machine out, plus the ability to pick your team and take them to the championship. Dirty Harry...
The use of G 'N R songs in GH 3 is specifically why this won't be happening. Axl agreed to letting the songs be used, but then Slash was plastered all over the advertising and game itself. Axl was furious that Slash essentially became the face of Guns, and swore he would never have any business...
Here's a conspiracy theory for all of you...
Maybe FarSight has actually started to get ahead of the development cycle. Maybe, just maybe, they actually are a full table pack ahead of what is released. Testing cycles would still be the same, but asset acquisition and table builds might have...
On top of everything already said, I'll add this; FarSight has stated they are done with releasing physical copies of games. With digital distribution, they can self publish, something they couldn't do with games on disc. The license they currently have for these tables probably includes...
I'll tell you my reasons. First, I loathe the flippers on Data East machines. Even on a fully shopped, immaculate condition table, the flippers suck. Someone explained to me that there is no end of stroke switch on them as compared to other manufacturers (a cost saving step) and thus they lose...
One thing I never knew about NBA Fastbreak but found out recently...you were able to link together 2 machines and have head to head scoring in the arcade! If only we could get ANY kind of online head to head out of FarSight.
Plan B is raise the money some other way. Molly from Pins & Needles game them some great ideas that they might run with. There's a whole thread about it over on pinside.
Demolition Man
Dirty Harry
Doctor Who
Guns 'N Roses
Indiana Jones
Johnny Mnemonic
Lord of the Rings
NBA Fastbreak
The Shadow
Simpsons Pinball Party
That was fairly easy for me to pick through! Avoided Sega and Data East (except for G'N R) and picked everything else! And I hate Congo the movie...
Oh man this is hard, but here goes...
1. Rollergames
2. NBA Fastbreak
3. Big Bang Bar
4. Indiana Jones: Pinball Adventure
5. Metallica - AC/DC - LOTR (in that order!)
I finally got some game play in on an AC/DC. I don't know if it's just a case of over hyping it in my head or what, but I think I enjoyed Metallica more. Granted, I haven't even been anywhere near figuring out the 'how to REALLY score' on either machine, but as a whack the ball around...
Yes to bringing all the System 11 tables in. They are not only some of the most fun to play, but they are the first titles that tend to roll off people's tongues when recalling machines they used to play.
Even during the 70's, when pinball was in it's uncontested hayday, nobody could give 2...
