Yeah, it's been dead in there for the last few days. I know I won't be checking in until beginning of August just because of work. Hope it picks up again by then.
My gut reaction is to say anything Data East or Gottlieb, but that's too easy.
Instead I'm gonna go with Genesis because it's god awful ugly AND a Gottlieb Premier table, and Austin Powers as it not only dated poorly, but has terrible game play and that freakin' music that won't stop!

I know South Park is a popular choice, but man does that table get boring real fast. It's also from a time when Matt and Trey were pretty much just slappin' the brand on anything and not really doing quality control. In a way, it's much like...
FarSight could really do one better, and that is after you unlock all the tokens, you get a special Safe Cracker ball! Of course by doing that, you lose all your tokens and have to earn them again. Kind of like how with the real machine you could feed the tokens back into the game for more game...
I'd go so far as to say if FarSight couldn't do the tokens justice, then don't make the game.
(please don't call my bluff!)
I actually have two ways they could do tokens. The first would be to have them be like wizard goals, where you need to collect them all to beat it. The second would be to...
I stand by Jeff's statement that TPA fans are not your typical pinball fans. The majority of TPA fans don't own a real table, don't have access to real tables, and quite often have never played any of the tables offered in TPA in real life. The typical pinball fan either has access to, owns, or...
Well to be fair, most of the people on pinside have actually played the real life table they are voting on, rather than only watching a vid or playing in VP. But I do agree, TPA fans are most certainly NOT your typical pinball fans, and I love that!
Glad the reminder about the poll went out today, as I'd completely forgotten to vote! 1-9, easy pics. That 10th one, lotta debate!

Oh man, if that isn't the epitome of bad 80's sex comedy! It's got flaunting of authority, drugs, parties, random slap-stick, gratuitous nudity, nerds, destruction of property, and a title that has very little to do with the actual movie. And that's just in the trailer!
Whenever I see clips, or...
I just saw at Toys R Us a reproduction looking box of the Falcon, and they wanted over $200 for it!! I was always quite fond of that AT-ST, since you push the button to make the legs move. Way easier to play with than the AT-AT. Yep, some toys were worth holding onto for the sake of passing them...
I love it! They're running their own contest for supporters, giving them the entire Season 1 pack. Hell of a prize for anyone new to the game, which on that site, is probably the majority.
I just played one yesterday at a Golf N Stuff. It looked clean and not abused...too bad it didn't play the way it looked. The left flipper would stick in the up position, until you flipped with the right. Left also didn't have much power, so I'm guessing the end of stroke switch was messed up...
Ya know, that really does sound like a 'for sure' that the next kickstarter would be TAF. Here's what I'm guessing based on the rest of that transcript...licensing of TZ and ST:TNG got them through the door to license T2. Getting and handling the license properly for that will probably open the...
Since we're talkin' proper usage...
"legos" is not a word. The plural of Lego is Lego, since "Lego" is the brand of building bricks. Therefore you should say "Lego bricks" to pluralize.
Yes, I read that many many years ago on the back of a Lego catalog that came with one of my sets, and have...
Ask Bobby if he is aware of The Museum of Pinball and if so, how they might use that to their advantage. If he's not, tell him he needs to get familiar with it and throw have FarSight throw some kickstarter money of their own toward it!
The license FarSight has is specifically for T2, not 'terminator' in general. Another game company however has bought the 'terminator' license as a whole, to be the exclusive holder so no other game can be created using 'terminator'. This is where FarSight has slipped in, and why the window will...
And then you do searches on Craigslist, "just for the fun of it".
Trust me, been there. Guess what? There's now a machine sitting in my garage. Slippery slope, and it WILL get you too!
