You are mistaken as to what they can and cannot fix.
All the things you mentioned, those can be fixed by changing code. Very doable, and changes of that nature have been going on with every patch release. Changes to graphics, ie fixing Black Knights's black blobs, the overly bright Genie, the...
Look, no way no how am I paying money to 'fix' what never should have been broken to begin with. FarSight made graphical mistakes that they have admitted to being mistakes. That would be the cruelest twist of the knife to then charge for a fix.
As far as the 3D goes, I do like your suggestion...
After the last update, it only goes out the left outlane maybe 25% of the time!
No, the real table doesn't send it down the pooper, or at least never has when I've played it. Having never played a fully shopped version though, and FarSight's being at full strength, who knows. Bobby made a...
I said that. And no, apart from Sony's policy toward DLC, it doesn't make them look bad. They just point the finger to FarSight and say, "hey we didn't make it this way, they did".

Now then, I get your frustration. It took me a long time to get the timing down for the upper trap door shot on Funhouse in TPA coming from PHOF. A big part of that is...
Can I just say "Welcome" to all the first time posters I'm seeing here in this thread?
Fantastic to see you all, hope you join in some other conversations too.
Attention race fans...
Barcade is in effect. 5 minute challenges are starting up. Get you're butts in there now!
Remember, the room is pinballarcadefans
wow, nobody in the room right now. You'd think it was a Friday night or something.
Well, I'll log in an hour from now, 6:30ish PST (+8 GMT for those with that sort of mentality). Wants to play some 5 minute challenge, yo.
I like the idea of watching your opponent play, but how they would implement that would seem to be the sticking point. If it's like watching a video, that'll take up huge bandwidth. If it's your console being 'taken over' by the other player, that'd be kinda crazy. Obviously Rock Band and Guitar...
