It's especially bad when new updates mess up kickstarter table sims in TPA. Sure we get the latest revisions on Steam, but bugs are piling up with ever-increasing frequency. It's becoming harder to build up enthusiasm for TPA when the new releases are just okay, but they mess up some of the...
There are lots of great suggestions here for the halloween-themed table. Tizzomr had a great suggestion-but I remember hearing on (I think it was a twitchstream), that FarSight wanted to do this one but were unable to find one in decent condition. This would be quite a feat considering only a...
Wow-Sorcerer is one of my most wanted tables.
I know you've wanted Banzai Run since the beginning of TPA, as have others. Just for that guess, my vote is cast for Banzai Run, even if it ends up crowding out Sorcerer AND SnS.
Well, not quite. First he will need to get all of the standard goals, then start a new game and get the wizard goals.
That will take 12 seconds.
Then he'll get an "Ikusaaaaaaan!-ish" score!
The individual table purchase bug has been fixed as of 1.64.14 (latest build).
Not sure what the other fixes are yet.
EDIT-I almost forgot, goal instructions still don't work.
I like this one-turns out the cosmetic changes weren't so bad at all. I just can't afford the season pass yet and TPA no longer allows individual pack purchases with this update.
Making table packs unavailable.....SPA did that too, about nine months ago.
On top of disabling the ability to purchase individual table packs, TPA is now reduced to being a movie app????
Please post the hint-FarSight will not send me newsletters either.
FarSight no longer allows individual table pack purchases on the Steam version. I'll wait until the rest of the list is revealed before determining if it's worth the season pass.
That's sounds like a possibility. I'll think about it over a bowl of store-brand imitation frosted flakes featuring Terry the tiger.
"They'rrrrrrrrre food."
Over the seasons, FarSight has really toned down the flippers. While ramp shots are still very-much doable. it's a lot harder to "spam" ramp shots than it was in the first two seasons. That and fixing the "vacuum ramp" conditions.
Now if only they would fix the lower inlane/outlane vacuums...
Valid points, but it's not exactly a good idea to compare SPA with Pro Pinball. PP Ultra hasn't had an update on PC since September 2016, and the other old tables will never be updated.
That said, the old ones on GOG, even with no controller support whatsoever, do still run circles around SPA...
As of 1.63.8, getting the 200M jackpot on Al's Garage Band gets you, well, 200M points.
No wizard goal, no achievement, just the points.
So the goal still has yet to be fixed. Never mind that this is the 5th time I've earned it since becoming eligible for wizard goals.
If you're...
The Addams Family is not owned by Disney. And mods???? Like the Ghostbusters/Haunted House mashup, or the Doctor Who re-skin?
We can't even get decent un-licensed tables in TPA lately. Firepower 2 is okay at best (I love the classic Williams sounds)-but who wanted that one over Fire!?
If it's World Challenge Soccer, they would have to remove the foot from the backglass, since it's the food of Soccer star Gianluca Pagliuca-he reportedly commands a high licensing fee-guh!. A backglass with only a soccer ball is boring. Then again, so is re-doing Car Hop as Soccer.
Wow! It looks so much better than the scripted version and plays much differently now. No more spamming the locks.
I do miss the bonus sound effects, but you can't have everything.
World Challenge Soccer did not have a spinning soccer ball. Striker Xtreme is a Stern game. And the forums were abuzz with A.G. Soccer ball for the longest time.
Of these three, Striker Xtreme was the best, and it deserves a place in SPA, being that it was the first Stern Pinball machine of...
