Well, the PSN store dared to release the Doctor Who game "The Eternity Clock" a few weeks ago, though. One of the buggiest/glitchiest things I've played in a long while. So it can't be just that.
To be honest, there isn't a single sound on the whole damn table that feels like highly toxic acid on my ears. Be it the the penguin, the shrunken head or whatever.
What makes the idol screeching "special" is though that it is being played again at the end of game, during that replay number...
That isn't really the problem, though. They arise from things that are out of your reach and have more to do with (bad) luck than skill. Like the mentioned idol magnet causing unavoidable outlane drains. Or balls draining just as you shot them with the plunger into the playfield. (The latter was...
I think this has to do with that there are merely 7 days or so left before the kickstarter closes and the number is still far short of the anticipated 110.000$. I can see many people thinking: "So why donate even more money when it's unlikely that the new goal will be reached, meaning that...
Grah, I really should have left it at that. I just broke my controller out of frustration. Ahem. First time this ever happened to me. Now I'm kind of in awe, no game before was able to tickle that out of me!
THIS!
I'm going to vote for this question until it's answered. I get so many needless drains because of the bouncy ball that I'm afraid it'll cause me to brake my controller sooner or later. lol
The maximum you can score on the lower playfield is 999.999 (or... well... 4.999.995 with all multipliers if you want to be that thorough, but let's not go into that ;) ), not exactly "one last thing to do just before breakfast"-stuff. :D Is anyone here who managed to do that? The best I ever...
It just means that you ran out of all the extra balls. When you collect one the table starts to count your balls backwards, so if the counter goes blank it's perfectly normal IMO.
Cactus Canyon looks pretty interesting on the pictures I've seen and I'd love to have a go at it. However it's a rare machine that wasn't widely distributed if you look at the production numbers (The then upcoming Pinball 2000 tables might have something to do with it), so I don't think that...
Australia is pretty doable if the ball behaves as you want it (with the emphasis on IF). With Asia however the problem is already starting. Not always you hit the spinner with the extra flipper (and not always will the extra flipper detect a ball hit thanks to some annoying bug, I might add), so...
I gave up on achieving this goal for good just now. If you score about 150 million but still haven't got a single letter you start to feel somewhat silly. It's just always the same, just before you could collect one last tombstone/boomerang/spin the timer will run out or the ball suddenly...
Nice to see so much love for Gorgar in this thread. :) Usually I just see people hating the table.
I only played Monster Bash on VP without sound (couldn't get it to run) but it seemed fun. A diner around my corner has the actual table though, I finally need to get my hands on it before it gets...
Have they fixed this on the phone versions so far... or at least adressed this problem at all? I really hope they do something about it. Every time I play this table this bug (or whatever it is) starts to annoy me after a while. The magnets just never never work and always activate when it's...
I got Harem Multiball only once so far, but once is more than enough anyway since it scores almost zero, so all you'll be needing it for is to finish the standard goals. :p Bizarrely pretty much all of the following wizard goals are cakewalk material. Spinning the lamp 60 times? Doing it every...
I'm not really sure if it makes sense right now. There might be an established fanbased... but is it large enough already to fulfill the kickstart goal? 55.000 aren't peanuts. Right now we're at 15.000something and the growing number of backers is going slow already... and I'm a little worried...
No, I'm the second one on this forum. ;) However I don't think it's very likely that we're ever going to see this on TPA. The brand should be pretty costly these days, much more expensive than the Twilight Zone. Besides, there are Daleks on the table. And the Nation estate is well known for...
I voted for "ToM" when the poll was creatred... but by now "Black Hole" eclipsed it by a wide margin. It may be a very simple table, but because the goals are so easy to figure out it's easier to stay focused and never lose sight of what to go for. It's the table I play the most and have the...
