    A VERY dangerous thread!

For iOS: 1. Shake/nudge sensitivity/config menu. (device sensor sensitivity, not tilt threshold, of course) 2. iCade/input device configuration menu.

    iOS iCade Support? (Bitty)

As far as I know, Farsight has been silent on the issue. But iCade support was mentioned in a semi-official post somewhere on this forum.

    Reaching out to the community!

Maybe it's wiser to do 8 Ball Deluxe or Fireball first, Centaur sellers can't be trusted in general.

I'm not against older tables, but is this boring?

I like Genie and similar tables. In fact it's on my personal top 3 at the moment. The only thing that bothers me is that Farsight chose to make 5-ball games the default. It adds nothing to the game since progress is not carried over, but averages the scores and makes the game less addictive and...

    iOS iCade Support? (Bitty)

So far, Sublime is AFAIK the only user who reported iCade compatibility. It would be nice to hear the opinion of a Farsigh employee on this.

    iOS iCade Support? (Bitty)

Are you sure? I bought an iCade core today but it doesn't work with Pinball Arcade.

Vote for a classic Bally table! (Closed)

I voted for Fireball, but as it stands now I would vote for 8Ball Deluxe.

Vote for a classic Bally table! (Closed)

Well I think TPA's rather simplistic representation of the game physics makes those older, simpler games boring, because the simulation is too deterministic and there are no complicated rulesets to beat.

Vote for a classic Bally table! (Closed)

I voted for Fireball, but on second thought I think those older, simpler EM tables like Big Shot and Fireball are only fun to play if the physics are perfectly modeled and displayed. And that is something TPA and the tiny phone or tablet screens can't deliver.

What are your 3 biggest concerns for TPA?

    1. Physics issues: The game feels like 'pinball on rails'. 2. Graphics: The tables look flat, like paper models. No shadows, no depth, no texture. 3. Sound: Perfect. Honestly, that's where TPA stands out.

    New interface thoughts and comments.

I think the new interface is a step in the right direction. But there is still much room for improvement.

Art of Pinball HD - iOS

The 'Art of Pinball - Table Pack' App is on sale right now for $.99 / €.89.

Art of Pinball HD - iOS

The physics may be a little off, but it's consistent and not 'tuned'. It doesn't feel like 'pinball on rails'. And the ball texture shows something other pinball simulators don't simulate: Rotational momentum of the ball. The tables are simple in design but hard to master.

Art of Pinball HD - iOS

'Blatant ripoff' is a little harsh IMHO, i'd say they were inspired by those tables. The artwork and game rules are totally different. And they left out the drop targets, spinners and kick out holes.

Art of Pinball HD - iOS

For those who already bought the other five tables, this is sort of insulting. They should at least release the new table as a separate app for '99. And their silly in-app sales are still silly, which is really sad because their games are really good. I'm a big fan, I like the visuals and...
