Nothing bad ever happens after a company is acquired, does it?
I suppose this speaks to the success of FX3, although I don't know what else Zen does. While I was very unhappy about Farsight losing the rights, I've been very happy with the Zen tables. The gameplay might be better, but the table...
Why is jack bot so popular? To me it's a bad update of a great game. Pinbot is a classic, Bride of Pinbot moreso.
Zen did hit a nice sweet spot with this last release.

I have to agree with you, but there's something so satisfying about using the trigger buttons in landscape mode. The bonus is that is also does portrait mode, so that helps. I also really enjoy the experience.
But.... Steam will likely win out. Using my laptop is a bit clunkier, but it's worth...
I'm all in also! I only have to make one big decision. Switch or Steam? I love the look and play on the PC, and right now I only have the switch handheld but might get the console. This pack looks too good to pass up!

I was just throwing shade. I can't even finish a basic rpg. Buying and finishing all of that is a testament to your determination and skill.

Can that argument be made for Zen? I've seen them on my switch, Steam, and mobile. I also haven't seen a new Williams table in months. Did the contract turn out to not be as lucrative as they had hoped? I feel like I've seen them on my Xbox one, but that may have been TPA.

I used to hope TPA had that built in so they could choose future tables based on play time on past tables.
I don't see it being as helpful with Zen, because they seem to be sticking to a certain type/era of tables.

I have had an interesting evolution in my views of Zen. I have on FarSight as well, but that's secondary.
I only started playing FX3 when I came back to Windows. Fish Tales played nicely, but I don't care for the table. I've bought one Williams pack, and another on my Switch.
After the free...
That was definitely a nice treat, and a couple of those tables make me more of a zen fan. I owned bobs burgers on my Mac, and was always disappointed at the lack of depth. The rulesets and gameplay on some of these tables definitely makes me interested in their other tables.
That being said...
I really like this aspect of the conversation. It's a good reminder of how many factors are outside of Zen's or Williams control currently. The fact that a pinball table with a movie theme has so many hoops to jump through in order to obtain full rights is ridiculous.
I think Zen is in a...
Your statement assumes a lot of things. For them to do everything you mentioned, they would need a decent size team. I suspect there are just a few warm bodies there for whatever reason.

As someone else pointed out, a big part of what did them in was trying to be all things to all people. I think there was an issue with the Xbox version of their game, and squashing bugs across so many platforms definitely leaves more room for more bugs.
How many ways did farsight take their eye...
I have to agree with you on this. After a regular release schedule, it seems to have slowed to a crawl.
I appreciate that TPA used to tease their tables so you could guess at the next release.
Zen hasn't said anything, have they? Which was the last batch released? I'm genuinely forgetful. Was...
I have a question that may have been asked before. This is the first Zen table pack I've purchased. I got it on Steam. Of the 3 tables, only one gives me a view of the plunger knob so I can see how far I'm pulling. The other two aren't doing that.
Is there a setting I need to tweak? I think...
