I like that line of thinking. As it stands, using a timed system is really screwing up the rule sets. For example in Champion Pub, if your ball drains, you would lose a match in progress. The Zen system just shoots another ball out.
I am particularly puzzled at how loose Zen is allowed to be...
On Android there appears to be a huge bug in champion pub. I played an arcade challenge. Towards the end, I got some sort of all jackpots multiball. Next thing I knew, the spitting gallery was playing and the game was just shooting and draining balls.
Like the other tables, I'm left with the...
You can count out the UI. They had it right in the beginning, botched the look and functionality, and never cared. I became more wary of buying tables after that. If they don't care about their presentation up front, why would they care about anything else?

I think TPA should be grateful we're having a conversation about them. They did some nice tweaks to some tables, and they've had a few contests, but outside of that, no PR.. no excitement build... Last I checked, their Twitter was nothing but announcements of live streams or something. I'm fine...
I hate it so much I play about once or twice a week. I'll do one daily challenge and that's it.
I was never impressed with old Zen games (the themes we're cool, but I never enjoyed their "physics") but as a company I've lost all respect for them with this model.

As much as I love the classic tables, I feel like putting out recent releases is a great idea, and a good way to retain interest in the app. It's a great selling point to be able to say the tables you're releasing are new and have modern rule sets, effects, and challenges.
Having seen the...
Well, if there's female hair, I'm in! I actually haven't purchased a table for quite some time. I'd like to see one that really interests me. AC/DC is close.

By "unreleased", do they mean original? I'm not a fan of those, especially when they just put a new skin on an existing table.

I've seen reviews on Google play that people are buying table packs and still seeing ads. I hope that's a temporary bug.

Congrats to Zen for thoroughly corrupting the simple idea of pinball. Upgrades... Tickets... Table parts.. stupid ads... 5 minute unlimited ball challenges... Ugh.. maybe I'd rather watch those ads after all.

Good idea. If I ever get the funds I may dump more mobile gaming. I've narrowed things down a lot the last few years. There are few original ideas left, and when a game works, they make it a time suck and a cash grab.

I feel like they've sort of screwed the pooch by making things so convoluted. To those of you invested, good luck. As for me, this app will be nothing more than an occasional novelty.

The ticket issue was brought up in another thread. There's quite a range for some reason. The last time I checked, I would be rewarded with 150 tickets if I watched an ad. It would probably go down after that. I don't want to find out, because I don't want to support Zen monetarily if I can help...
Are you referring to the arcade tickets? I haven't clicked any offers, but I'm currently seeing 150 tickets if I watch an ad.

That explains it! My laptop is too old to run fx3, and last I checked it wasn't Mac compatible, so I've been checking the mobile version. Thanks for clearing that up!

I genuinely don't know. Instead of a pinball sim I seem to be playing some game that is made to look like pinball with a ton of extra bells and whistles. It's even timer and score based instead of open ended.
Whatever the mode is that it starts at is what I'm playing. I chose the medieval...
