I have now reverted back to TPA v7.10.7. Running the newest TPA version got me nothing except for a new $10 Stern table I cannot play (but want to) as well as screwing up all my other Sterns. At least with the previous version that I've since reinstalled, now I can play my other Stern tables...
I've been in the tech industry for ~38 years and I agree.
What irks me so much about this particular instance is that they released this new version, knowing it was badly broken as far as Stern tables go (with of course no mention of it) so they could push this new version out to get some table...
Yes, Farsight states: "We are looking into the issue" and I'm sure it will indeed be fixed at some point. In the mean time with this version of TPA being released, they've got the people buying the newer Stern tables at least, even though they're not playable at all (unless you want to have a...
I don't understand why the app was released like this; it's such an obvious bug/glitch. Those that purchased one of these new Stern tables (in the TPA app) with the hope of having some fun with the new table(s) instead get kicked in the nuts...even more so that that this Stern stutter now...
Heck, I'm dying to play the new Star Trek: Vengeance table I just bought for $10....sadly, all Stern tables are currently inflicted with Stern Stutter.
geohoo
Thanks for the suggestion to use the Stern app until TPA is fixed but I can't even download it since it requires iOS 10 or greater. My current iOS is 9.3.5 so I sit and wait for yet another fix from Farsight...which seems to be the norm now.
And in all of this, my choice to stay...
This stuttering is affecting only the Stern tables.
According to others here, it's apparently affecting all Stern tables (I don't own them all to verify)
Agreed with the stuttering, slowing down and speeding up of the ball (unplayable) *only affecting the Stern Tables (hell, even RBION)*
I updated to the latest version to try out Star Trek Vengeance, was happily playing it in demo mode with zero stuttering/issues and loving it. So I decided to...
If you update TPA (iOS) via iTunes, the older version(s) of TPA may still likely be in your Trash (if you haven't emptied it). To revert to an older version in your trash, move it out of the trash to a folder. The name(s) will be something like Pinball Arcade Plus 7.10.6.ipa (.ipa is the file...
I don't know if the Pro version is included with the table pack or not (I'm thinking it's not because of the price) but I believe in the past when a Pro capable table was in a table pack, you needed to buy the table pack, then upgrade to the Pro version of the desired table after the purchase of...
I can't speak for the newest version of TPA because I'm running a very old version (5.10.0, old UI, TX Sector table is "new") but the Pro Mode version of Scared Straight IS available for purchase in my version.
I didn't buy it in a table pack either so I can't comment how that would work...
Other issues with the touch schemes...if the option to show the touch scheme (lines) is ON, despite the displayed touch scheme selected and the proper lines being displayed on the screen, scheme A is always being used.

There's also an issue with the touch schemes...if the option to show the touch scheme (lines) is ON, despite the displayed touch scheme selected and the proper lines being displayed on the screen, scheme A is always being used.
If the option to show the touch scheme is turned OFF, the selected...
It would've been nice if Apple supplied the same type of toggle for this new floating dock that they did for the (new at the time) Control Center that prevents it from being accessed via a swipe up motion from within apps.
Hopefully, you guys running the newest iOS will get something...
