The second game I played was the one that got me spot #46. I played a dozen more, but none were close.
It's definitely a question of fatigue more than ability with extra balls turned on. I didn't do much with my last three balls in my best game because I was getting bored and lost focus.
Imagine if the game made it to market with the prototype translite:
Then you'd throw in:
Miss Elizabeth
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Earthquake
Typhoon
British Bulldog
Brian Knobs? (Guy in the Sharpshooter)
Sid Vicious/Justice
Ultimate Warrior
Ted DiBiase
Ric Flair (WOOOO!)
Sgt. Slaughter
Hard to make...
Thanks! I think I'm finally ready to do a full teardown, cleaning, cliffy install, wax, new balls and rubbers job. Now I just need to find the time. ;)
Owen is not on the table. Bret is though.
Full rundown:
Yokozuna
Doink
Tatanka
Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Bret Hart
Lex Luger
Crush
Big Boss Man
Shawn Michaels
Hulk Hogan
Mr. Perfect
Razor Ramon
Randy Savage
The Bushwhackers
The Smokin' Gunns
The Steiner Brothers
The Undertaker
Vince McMahon

Zooooooooombie Thread!
Tragically, I did a long write-up last year, but I think the only place I had it saved was on my work email, and I've since switched jobs, so it's lost to the ages.
But in short:
1. Built out a cabinet that would hold all buttons and the playfield monitor and have a...
Even portrait mode won't be supported at launch, so it it'll be a while until there's full cabinet support. I'm holding out hope for two-monitor support, but I really doubt we'll ever see DMD support.
A little different than most of what's in this thread, but one of the New Jersey "Stronger Than the Storm" commercials features a couple of seconds of footage from the Silverball Museum. The embed code doesn't appear to support timestamping, so jump to the 0:15 mark.
Thank you! I have been!
I actually got to the doorstep of wizard mode shortly after my last post. Lit all nine modes and hit the scoop again. All I needed to do was hit each ramp once, but alas, the scoop kick shot immediately to the left outlane.
Thanks all! One thing I didn't get into above, but is worth mentioning:
My dad and I have made it a tradition to go to the Red Sox game every Patriots' Day (they play extra early.) This year, with Patriots' Day falling on my 30th birthday, it was an extra special occasion. Unfortunately, as...
My 30th birthday was back in April, and my wife really wanted to do something special for me, so she contacted my friends and family and had them all chip in some cash to go towards a table:
This money, combined with some of my own, allowed me to purchase my first table: WWF Royal Rumble...
I know the feeling. I just got my first pin a couple of weeks back (thread to come, I swear!) and of course, a few days later, another dream pin at a great price became available.
Kolchak, I know Jennersville's a bit of a haul for you, but there's an X-Files for sale at a pretty good price:
