Understood. So why hasnt it been done? It's the backbone of the game. That should be right first and foremost. Either way, I VERY happy they got it right on TNG. This is the table I've been waiting for more than any others
Just got STTNG. It has the new flipper physics! Just did a perfect cradle separation and it Feels GREAT!!
But why not on the old tables? :(
EDIT: This is easily the best playing table they've released on console by FAR!! I'm finding ZERO flipper lag and can perform drop catches as well...
True, the ball physics are improved. But you still can't perform drop catches n such that are quite easy on iOS now. That flipper update was awesome! Best improvement they've made since launch. Too bad they don't want to support the console crowd anymore.
So this is the second update on PS since iOS got the new flipper physics. And it's still not on console.
I think it's time we realize FS really could care less about consoles. This was made abundantly clear in Jeff's interview with Rob.
Yeah, it just didnt feel right getting to LITZ in my first game on PS3. Havent gone back to the table much (even though I love it) because it doesnt really pose a challenge. It's more of a mental marathon to keep hitting those three shots. And with the perfect (mostly) kickouts....
But ever...
Nope you arent alone. It's definitely more challenging than most other tables. Seems to be the trend lately. I for one, like it! Only been able to manage 64M myself, good enough for bottom of the high score list
Oh ya absolutely! There are a TON of skills I never really tried out in the wild. I can pull off drop catches, live catches, cradle separations etc. I'm not a pro or anything but I've been getting better and better at it :)
I'll do another one with the glass off the next time my friend is over
Its funny you should mention that. I noticed the same thing when I watched the video. It's weird because it's not floaty at ALL. It's actually one of the faster tables I've ever played. So to answer your question, yes it's adjusted correctly ;)
So I finally got around to making a video of the table. It's brief and not a very good game but here goes!
