The most interesting part of that interview to me was where he specifically mentioned them having Sega and Data East licenses. I mean we pretty much knew that from cobbling together various comments from Farsight, but it's nice to hear him mention those licenses right along with the other big ones.
I watched a few of his videos and actually picked up the DVD collection of them which is well done. I love watching them - it's great that he also talks about his personal experiences with the tables and where he played them as a kid.
I love CV on the 360 - the light show is the best out of all of the tables IMO and it plays great. Since he's getting it on the PC I would actually recommend the table since it will probably be based off the 360 version. I actually think the CV and FH pack is one of the best since Funhouse is...
Found a great looking and playing Lord of the Rings at the Garden Cinemas in Greenfield, MA. They also had a Jurassic Park that looked to be in good condition, but my daughter, whom I was taking to the movies, barely tolerated my few games of LOTR so I didn't get a change to have a go at the...
Yup, definitely would like to see them saved. I've been spending a lot of time playing MM lately and it's a bummer to see the mode scores reset every time.
Welcome! If you play your 360 often, you definitely owe it to yourself to get TPA on XBLA. It's really great in HD and plays like a dream with the 360 controller.
Just want to chime in and echo what everyone else is saying. Mike (and Ryan) do a great job of keeping us informed and as it's mostly on their own time, you can see the passion they have for thier game. I'll definitely be supporting TPA for a long time to come!
One subtle thing that they fixed is the typo on the apron comments for RBioN (it no longer says 'FOR FOR') pointed out in this thread:

In situations on the two tables that I've had this happen on - Ripley's (multiple times) and Cirqus Voltaire it has always been during multiball and appears to always have been one of the balls going down a trap/scoop and then disappearing. In RBON, the ball has gone into the main scoop (the...
I definitely agree that in the interest of getting the table as close to real-life as possible it should be fixed. I just have a problem with people saying is was such an obvious bug and makes the table 'rubbish'.
Every new table I tried never got past Loading...
Didn't try the older tables, but I did notice that on the newer tables trying to go left right, click the triggers, etc. to change the leaderboard had no effect.
Mike I think he's referring to this comment about MM and the flipper gap
I played a bunch of MM last night and it's far from 'rubbish' and very playable. Got over 100 million on my second game and I haven't even checked out the rules yet. Wouldn't have even noticed the flipper gap on my own...
Guess it depends on the camera angle? I can see them pretty well on the default angle when the ball goes up there (Don't have the camera locked). Seems realistic to me rather than a table bug?
I'm hoping that gap will get smaller as Farsight gets more comfortable with what MS wants in their updates and the possible gotchas. Once they are confident that they will be able to get the updates approved they can start submitting new updates while the current update is waiting for a release...
There is a menu option (press start on the controller) that gives you the choice to have the multiball camera on or off. It was added in the most recent title update.
I'm very impressed with all four tables. They look and play great! Funhouse is as fun as I remembered it as a kid and the light show on Cirqus is dazzling. Incredible job Mike and co! Can't wait for the next sets to come out down the road.
Might be something you want to check out yourself before you believe things you read in posts? The table looks and plays incredibly. And do you REALLY think they didn't test the table before it was released? Honestly? I doubt I would have noticed the gap was off if I hadn't read about it...
