Finally got a chance to take a trip up to The Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, NH yesterday. I was quite impressed with the arcade overall. It was very clean and no nonsense and really felt just like the non-chain arcades I used to go to when I was a kid. All of the pinball machines I played...
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Hopefully one of the devs will chime in. At least if we know it had to be resubmitted we'll know what to expect time frame wise.
Sounds like my dream job - unfortunately I live on the other side of the country. Nice to see you have the need for another two employees though. Go TPA!
Thanks for the info Mike. I code for a living too, so I know how requirements that seem straight forward up front can end up being interpreted differently by the person who generates the requirements and the coders.
Hi Mike. Thanks for taking the time to come in here and level with us and give us the news, even if it's bad news.
Not sure how much more you can say about the approval process, but what channels are there for you to ask them about waiving the issue? Do you have an assigned representative for...
Agreed. Although I'm hoping against hope that MS agrees to let the update go through and have this issue fixed on the next update like Farsight is asking (slim chance I know, but here's hoping!).
Hadn't really seen any footage of Pinball Circus before so I just checked some out. Wow, that table looks absolutely amazing! Now that's a table that would be an amazing get by the Farsight folks. Can't imagine how they'd be able to do it though as they would have to have someone in Vegas...
This is the part that I'm concerned about. They DO have special DLC during the Summer of Arcade this year for Minecraft and Trials Evolution:

I'm worried that they may want to hold off on any...
I was really hoping to get home tonight and see an announcement about a release of the title update and tables next Tuesday. Now I doubt we'll see it next week if we haven't heard anything from Farsight yet :(
I actually like the fact that the music changes and it plays a sound effect when you choose a table. I think those are very nice touches. I do agree on the flyers and that the table details could be expanded a bit. Ultimately though I just want to play the tables (and in the case of the 360...
If it follows the conventions of all of the other XBLA games, you'll get prompted that there is an update (which you'll need to accept if you want to stay connected to XBox Live).
There are plenty of people who would like to see a virtual arcade. I actually thought the Game Room interface on XBLA was cool. I liked navigating through the different rooms and seeing what the full cabinets looked like. There is also a menu based way to access the games so you get the best...
Gary, next time you're ever heading up Maine way, you might want to plan a stop at Funspot (Laconia, NH), or The Pinball Wizard Arcade (Pelham, NH).
I've been to Funspot (http://www.funspotnh.com) and they have quite a few pins(30+ conservatively I believe - their website is kind of tough to...
He could also just move his profile onto the memory stick when he plans on going to visit. I do it all of the time. Some people that play on different XBoxes on a regular basis actually keep their profile on the memory stick at all times so the just have to move the stick from console to...
Hmm, that's a really good question about updates. I would think that it would release along with the DLC. I'm not so sure there's really a set date for updates. I've seen them on all different days, usually in preparation for DLC.
I'm starting to get a little worried that we haven't heard anything on the title update approval recently. I'm trying to remain patient and optimistic about the whole thing, but I'm starting to get the sinking feeling that something's wrong in the approval process of the latest title update...
I think the way it goes is retail releases on Tuesdays, most DLC on Tuesdays (although I've seen some on Wednesdays), most XBLA game releases on Wednesdays (MS sometimes releases self published games on Fridays for some reason).
If you won it a few years back I would assume that you have one of the original models. You have a few choices for storage. You could pick up a hard drive for it (for as little as around $20 or so off of eBay). They have 20GB, 60GB, 120GB, 250GB and even 320GB models. You could probably get...
