It's a bug in the most recent version of TPA. FlippyFloppy's answer is here:

In the end, when all is said and done, you can thank (or blame) Apple for this. They are the ones who are preventing the Season Pass from being offered/purchased until ALL tables in the season are completed.
Agreed. I've been gaming since about 1980. When you bought a game, it was yours. It's embedded into my brain that way. There were virtually none of these constant updates & patches. Hell, I even remember a game-killing bug (Ultima 4 for the Atari 8-bit) where the developer (Origin Systems)...
These kinds of phantom setting changes can be expected when you update iOS. Bluetooth is always turned on by default after an iOS update...I always need to disable this setting after an update. I've had to reset my side switch setting from controlling audio mute back to controlling screen...
That's got to be hands-down, the most ridiculous scheme devised in apps today. The minute I hit one of these "wait walls" on a "free" game, it's deleted. Sell me the game outright for a modest price...I'd rather buy it than deal with these silly pay/wait walls.
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the...
I'm liable to get shot for saying this but I'm liking POTO much better than BSD. For me, BSD has an odd vibe to it...I assuming this was the goal though and if that was indeed the case, it succeeded in that respect.
The initial entering on POTO is a bit odd and slow...I thought it was just me...

I mentioned that on the first page of this topic.

You guys with the issue can easily test if it's an online issue but turning off Wi-Fi on your device and if it's a cellular-capable...
Have you tried shutting down the apps running in the background on your device? Double tap the Home button, then swipe up on the app screen shots (not the icons at the bottom) that you want to shut down. Shut them ALL down, reset the device (as above), then try again.
The iPad 2 & iPad mini...
My next move in the line of troubleshooting would be to log out of your Farsight account (you've already done this but do it again here). Next, Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:

My personal feeling is that as long as TPA stays the same (purchase tables, play all you want), I have no issue with them trying something like Ghostbusters. Revenue is always an issue and if this type of game will help Farsight generate revenue, that's fine and dandy. If you don't want to play...
I know you said that you're not getting the versions mixed up but I have done it inadvertently in the past and others also have too. If you have one version installed (free or paid), install the version you do not have installed. Then restore your purchases within BOTH apps and see if the tables...
Is it consistent in the freezing? Deleting the table, then reinstalling it may help. I have an iPhone 5 at iOS 8.1 (beta 2) and will play a few games to see if it I get that issue. My other devices are still at iOS 6.x and 7.x
Hopefully, the credits needed to play the table won't hamper enjoyment of the game. I'd love the ability to at some point be able to purchase the table outright instead of having to use a credit-based system...but that would also depend on how good the table actually was.
I've heard mention of Ccv "hard power cycling the iPad" which I take to mean turn the iPad off, then on again. I've not heard any mention of any of you guys with the crashing issue *resetting* your device. Resetting and power-cycling are different beasts. Try the reset please (if you have not...
