I wasn't following TPA until after Black Hole was released. I had "Pinball Hall of Fame - The Gottlieb Collection" for the PSP and quite enjoyed it. Once I got an iPad, TPA was a Godsend. I initially only purchased Black Hole (was it in a pack back then?) which was the only table I planned to...
It certainly got me to be a backer (my first). I hope others will follow suit. I'd love to see this table done as I've never played it real-life...come to think of it, I've never played ANY of the ~50 tables in real-life, let alone seen them. I'm in SoCal. Big Bear is not far. ;)
I am still on iOS 7 on all of my devices but I'll test them regardless when I get access to my iPads later on today and will report back. I know a few versions back of TPA, BOP was crashing after exiting the table. Did the crashing happen to you under iOS 7?
EDIT: I've confirmed the issue on...
Posts like this give me hope. Maybe I should stop visiting the Apple forums (both iPhone & iPad) where it's never-ending issues being reported after an iOS update.
More like cautious...iOS 8 is being touted by Apple as "The biggest iOS release ever". I've went through the features and enhancements through research. Nothing I see is prompting me to jump on the iOS 8 band wagon, especially if the performance on my iPads will suffer. Some of these features...
Same here, and especially not today. Servers are being hammered, just like last year (and the year before). I'll wait until the dust settles before even attempting to update...if I do. Maybe I'll be another iOS holdout, just like last year. My iPad 3 is still on iOS 6.
Yes, it would be nice to get some feedback from users brave enough to update to iOS 8. It would be helpful if you include the device you're using to run TPA. I have a bunch of devices to update but I'm not doing it anytime soon. That being said, my iPhone 5 will be the first to be updated since...
That would then raise the question "If Zaccaria can do it under iOS, why can't TPA also do it under iOS"?
Either Zaccaria's engine is more efficient and/or it's physics are not as accurate or demanding as TPA's...never having played Zaccaria, I can't even begin to speculate on it's physics...
That's great! Looking forward to see how this controller works with TPA. Seems a bit odd how it would actually work since that would be the LAST kind of controller that I'd want to play digital pinball with. When I looked up the Goji controller when it was mentioned, I did a second take (and a...
I doubt we'll ever know. CV is a table that's had numerous issues in the past and present (presently the HUD that I have to turn off at the beginning of every single game). It also runs differently and exhibits different bugs under different devices under the exact same iOS version and the exact...
I think they need to let some air out of the table...that'll make the ball bigger. As for less floaty...will letting out out of the table fix that too?
All iOS devices (see my devices) under iOS v7.1.2 (iPad 3 under iOS 6.1.3 not tested)
Since a few versions (v3.8.0 if I'm not mistaken) back, the HUD setting is no longer being saved in the same way that it previously was. In the past, the setting would stick and stay stuck. Now the HUD seems...
This thread is for posting bugs for iOS version 3.9.2 ONLY (new bugs as well as lingering issues that haven't been fixed). If you want to post general feedback or comments, then please use THIS THREAD instead. Anything posted here that is not a bug will be moved or deleted.
When posting a bug...
No, it was not silent. The tables that were updated were Victory and Diner. The High Speed and TOTAN tables were not included in the actual download. I believe fixes for these two tables were in the app itself. The tables themselves were not updated.
Since a few versions (v3.8.0 if I'm not mistaken) back, the HUD setting is no longer being saved as it previously was. In the past, the setting would stick and stay stuck. Now the HUD seems to always default to ON which makes a mess of Circus Voltaire since you are basically seeing two...
Bug on TPA v3.9.1 #4
iOS 7.1.2
The HUD display option does not stick (tested on Cirqus Voltaire). Despite turning the HUD off in Options, when the next game (of the same table) is started, the HUD is displayed again. When exiting the table, and the table is chosen again, HUD is again turned on...
Kinda, sorta related but I believe this offer also applies to Mac OS X. I never downloaded TPA on the Mac but checked it out the other day and yes indeed, it comes with 4 tables: TOTAN, TOM, RBION, & BH. Like I said, these tables could have been already included with the free app download...If...
Reposted from another topic:
I doubt it has anything to do with the iOS version since I have the following devices and NONE of them crash when accessing Manage Tables, either with the Paid or the Free (limited testing however on the Free version) version:
iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.2
iPad mini, iOS...
