Hey All,
I've been searching online for about a month now to find a pin to buy. I came across an Apollo 13 for $1000. Obviously either the seller wants a quick sale or it needs some work (waiting to hear back from him).
Does anyone know anything about this game? Fun factor, durability...
Yes!!! Same here (vid mode). The reason I hate it is its lack of depth. It's just three shots repeated over and over until you get multiball. Meh. And the flippers feel more sluggish on it compared to other tables on PS
I wish I could try a TSPP or TAF. None anywhere in Toronto. And it looks like the Pinball Cafe is struggling. They've changed their hours 3 times in the last 2 months (twice I've driven there for nothing) and now are only open until 7 pm!?!
Sigh....This is a difficult hobby these days. I've got...
As much as I hate EM tables, I still think I'd take one over HD. I don't know why Stern even bothered making it lol. And of all the earlier Sterns they could have chosen from (Monopoly, RCT, hell even WOF) I can't figure out what possessed them to choose HD.
I played a NASCAR at bar near home last night. I've only been playing real pins for a couple of months now so understand my excitement. I FINALLY posted a highscore on a real machine!! 45M good enough for #4. Not much but it's a start. :)
There's one of these on Kijiji for $2400...SO tempted....

Is it really reasonable to have to wait this long to have some very basic problems fixed? Think of any other consumer product. If its defective, it gets fixed. ASAP. And this usually applies to games as well. This is one of the worst examples I e ever seen of a lack of technical support...
Well said Mark. I have all tables on both consoles and while I'd MUCH rather play on the 360, I abandoned it for the diversity on the PS3. I say abandoned because if I even touch it, just for ONE game, it completely throws me off when I go back to the PS3. Otherwise, I've just adjusted and got...
I'm not sure I get this thread. Aren't ALL of these tables much easier than their real life counterparts? I can barely scrape together 10M on a reall MM table, and over 134M so far in TPA (both in limited play), and pretty much the same thing for all of the other tables.
It's definitely not...
Big Bang Bar
Banzai Run
Addams Family
BS Dracula
Frankenstein
Medusa
T2
Congo
Lord of the Rings
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Tron LE
Monopoly
Jackbot
Bad Cats
TSPP
Tales From the Crypt
Jurassic Park
Indiana Jones (Williams)
Demolition Man
I just don't understand how after all this time, testing, and the huge commitment from the KS backers, how do they drop the ball on such important details? Don't get me wrong, the table looks and plays beautifully (lets hope that fuzzy peachy mess on the PS3 looks like this), but to be missing...
