You must not have tried very much. I have found many new VP tables that are MUCH better than TPA. The starter of this thread has many that are simply awesome. Which ones have you tried?
I'm in the same boat. I played the heck out of Zen when it first came out. Now I only play the most challenging tables. Excalibur and Blade are my favorites and really the only ones I have played much over the last few months. They're tough! Most of the tables I have gotten away from.
I do...
Agree 100%. Concentrate on making the tables as accurate and bug free as possible.
My list:
-Bugs fixed.
-Flipper physics overhauled.
-Lighting enhanced.
-Graphical problems/colors redone (ex/ PS3 suffers with washed out colors on several tables)
-Mechanical sounds added/enhanced.
-Simple...
Hmm...I think a kangaroo would win.
I saw a video recently of a horse fighting a pitbull. Horse kicked his a$$! google it if you dare, it's pretty violent.
Yes there's definitely a pinball renaissance happening. I attribute much of it to the popularity of new digital pinball like TPA, VP, and Zen. Its getting people into (or back into pinball).
Sadly, it will never be like it once was. Theres many factors why. For one, the games now are designed...
Yea he has that and a Dale Jr in his Connecticut studio. But this new one, I almost thought it was Centaur at first! But I figure it would be a sports theme pin, and it has a big ol DMD and is brand new looking, so Centaur was ruled out pretty quick haha. Didn't have enough coffee yet.
Actually...
Already mentioned in this thread was the Dan Patrick Show.He always has pinball machines in his studio. Now he's in New Orleans for Super Bowl week and has a new pin. I can't make out what it is. If you tune to NBCSports (hes on right now actually) this week from 9am-12pm ET, you can see it...
Jpsalas = GOD.
Guess I'm not gonna get any work done today....
edit: This table is truly a work of art. If you're a scarface or a pinball fan you must play this.
I play Dr Dude bout twice a week. They got one at the laundromat down the road. Really fun table with awesome sounds and voice clips. I will def be getting this for my phone.

Pro Pinball is awesome, some say it has the best physics ever for pinball.
VP is really the only way to go for real pins. In fact, its mostly all I play anymore. TPA is cool for portable, but it's not as realistic as most of the well done VP tables. I just don't like the physics of TPA...
Just watched the new The Middle episode, they went to an arcade and there was a clear shot of Whitewater in the background. There was a few others too.
Ya gotta get warmed up. I always play a few throwaway games to get used to the machine before taking it serious. Otherwise your gonna get frustrated real quick.
Another problem I have is that I tilt waaay too much. I'm too wild with the slapping and the slamming and what not.
Fortune cookie...
No I don't know a place with many pins out there now. I remember playing at arcade there and a few times and me and a buddy from dayton would go to a club there and they had several. Been bout 10 or so years ago haha. But nowadays 1 or 2 is a good find. I usually find the places online that...
