Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast. That Crazy Dash ruined the triggers like all hell. I think the springs were pretty weak.

I never use the triggers for non-analog functions if I can help it. It's just silly.

Or use your profile and don't load your TPA save data when you go for the achievements. I personally think it's not a problem though since I play the game enough and am usually improving. I can still beat one of my top 5 if I play a while.

After recovering your profile you must earn a top 5 score on each table.

At least it plays fine.

I can't believe you guys. Have some self control. Why would you be tempted to get points that aren't rightfully yours? Is that how far your obsession with scoring actually goes? And so what if it happens accidentally a few times? We all are living with this bug. Just live with it for now because...

Depends on which table you play. If the high score system is built into the table software the bumpers work, but if the score entry is just part of the TPA UI then only the triggers work.

It's too easy to get to so it's hardly a spoiler.

Good point. If DLC 3 hadn't been held back so long the bugs could've been noticed sooner (if FS wasn't already aware of them).

I'm pretty sure the leaderboards from the old tables have already been reset. I can't even find some of my scores.

Need a debug mode that allows you to skip to those modes.

I'm actually blissfully unaware of most things until reading about it here. I plan to just keep playing without trying to exploit this bug.

I suppose tilting the machine would in theory produce the same score, but in a tournament I'd still want to see the game over message before recording a score.

I am pretty sure the leaderboards and achievements will go online within the next few days (like last time) and then DLC pack 3 will be made available on the marketplace once again. As for patching the bugs, I think we will have to wait for an official update, which could take a while. One would...

But I'm saying you shouldn't be able to submit a score from an unfinished game. Until you see the game over screen, it's not a final score in the game. I don't care how high it is. The only way to address this is to fix the bugs.

I don't think they're getting fixed. They just got taken down to wait for the leaderboards and achievements to be ready I guess. The problem with releasing on the XBox is that it's much harder to do updates and fix bugs. That's why the product has to be ready from day one, although the fans...
