Gotta say it looks pretty unprofessional having the message there about the optional update yet not having it available to download yet. I'm not even talking about the DLC, but obviously people are going to be very confused by this. Sad to see the hard work going to waste so far.
Ozzpot, claiming the PS3 is obviously the runner-up this generation is very Western-centric. Look at the whole world, the PS3 has obviously caught up, if not surpassed the 360.
Why the big lecture about memory cards? As if we all can't conceive what this issue is without you bending over backwards to defend Microsoft. We don't even know much about what Microsoft has actually done in terms of quality control in this issue. We only have some tiny bits of information to...
Good call. I believe you are right. Unfortunately, it's definitely not the machine I played there as a kid. The one I played was much older, and I believe it had some sort of medeival/poker card sort of theme. None of the obvious choices seem right. If I had to guess now, I'd say Sorcerer but...
When I was a kid, my family used to go to this resort where we played a pinball machine. The problem is I can't for the life of me remember what machine it was. I have a photo from the resort's web site, but it's way too small to make out. I'm pretty sure it's not the same machine as when we...
To be honest, Zen Pinball, with its subdued sound and fantasy tables that try to be life-like bore me to tears. Alien Crush, Devil's Crush and Jaki Crush are the way video pinball should be done. In those games there are a wealth of objectives and moving targets that make no attempt to replicate...
I don't think most of us can pretend to know how difficult it is to digitize a pinball machine and then debug it, so most of these complaints about the quality or where you think the quality should be are completely a stab in the dark. The fact that bugs are an unavoidable part of life is a...
The big news is that it looks like 360 will be getting DLC #3 slightly before the PS3, in mid July at the same time the first two are released. Which is gonna suck. All 3 packs at the same time. Instead of spacing them out evenly each month, which was the promised experience that got me so...
The console is usually for more serious players. Mobile devices have done a great job of putting games into the hands of the less initiated. I'm just wondering if the price of this game will keep some casual players away because they're used to paying a dollar an app. There will be more higher...
On PHOF they had an unreleased table called Goin' Nuts that I had a great time with back when we were all new to their releases. I wouldn't mind seeing more historic beta stuff like that in the future.
neilpinbot "is suggesting otherwise."
I've been playing the free table on my Galaxy SII while waiting for the train, but it's just making me itch for the DLC on the consoles more. Maybe once they've finally been released I won't be as annoyed. I still don't think I'll be playing the mobile...
I think the multiscreen feature would be really awesome, but let's start with something much more easily achievable, and that's portrait mode. That's what this thread is about. I hope portrait mode isn't forgotten.
Let's get real here. The console version is 1080p and 60 fps. Touchscreen controls obscure part of the playfield and registering the presses is a crapshoot. The accelerometer for nudging is imprecise at best. There's a reason people are waiting with baited breath for the DLC on the consoles...
They've really missed their window. Like many others, I bought this game thinking there would be 2 new tables out each month. It was really exciting. Got my brother with a PS3 very into it too. I was setting us up for severe disappointment. Way to go, Microsoft. I'm still going to buy it...
Same happened to me, but "call attendant" DID work. I may have had to select it, then wait, then later select it one more time. But finally the game did resume. I wonder where the ball actually went, or if the game actually just lost track of it.
Hell yes.
I have been waiting for this too. I have a 1080p monitor on a stand that allows you to rotate the screen. I often use it for playing shooters. It would make everything in pinball so much easier to see.
And HEY, I thought in the making-of video they mentioned that you would be able to...
