If I keep my TPA game save and then turn on the game after restoring my profile, will it automatically award the achievements?

Well, of course I'd already deleted the incomplete file. Guess I didn't need to delete everything. Thought it was the only way to get it to finish downloading.

Probably too much hassle for this release though. Forza is a flagship Microsoft-published title. I can't really think of what would be the best way to handle it. It would be great if they could do the limited trial versions like on the phones.

Some addons on XBL have free versions. For example, the car packs for Forza.

I backed up my save file to the memory card because I was worried about this. I was one of the lucky ones. Actually I backup all the game save data on my hard rive that isn't restricted. I just need to remember to do it more often.

When the DLC is out I am going to post on the gaming forum I frequent and send a message to all the TPA players on my friends list.

I don't mean to be unappreciative or look down on Farsight at all. I just meant that it looks bad, regardless of the reason. The company has my sympathy, because as far as I can tell they are doing their best in the face of adversity.
