I'd rather suffer in silence, thanks. I'm dead center in the alphabet -- M -- and the chime-chime-chime is annoying. Playing the sound when the letter is "locked in" would be fine, but please, not for every press.
You, B, are the flimsiest excuse for a drop I've ever seen. Just the merest whiff of a ball passing in your vicinity sends you ducking under the table, ne'er to emerge until I've bricked one off your neighbors across the gap. I'm not sure what sort of magnetic voodoo you possess, but you...
Always the one I miss when "O-R-B" is blinking away like crazy!
Always the first one I hit when it's a fresh set of drops!
YOU MOCK ME, "S", BUT YOUR DAY WILL COME.

Bug: Returning to OS home screen without dismissing sponsor ad crashes app
Platform: 2012 Nexus, Android 4.3
Steps to reproduce:
1) Play a rousing game of the free table of the month to completion
2) Trigger sponsor's ad by choosing "Start" button
3) Choose OS "Home" button while ad is still...
The zebra ball is pretty close, at least on my Nexus. A higer-res platform may make a liar out of me. TZ uses an all-white ceramic ball (the "Powerball") so I like to pick something else for that table. Same for Centaur: color helps pick out the ball against all that table art.
You're familiar with the source music for the table, yes? (Scan ahead to about 2:31)
/me now feeling quite the old fart for remembering this on the radio...
It does, but the camera never "lets go" of the focus on the gumball machine. I waited for TZ to dispense another ball after loading the gumball, but from that point through the end of the game, the view camera never moved.
Still a bug, though if you turn off the "event camera" (added since this was reported) the camera won't lock on the gumball machine, but at least stays on the table. However, it remains locked to the table as the simulator evidently thinks the ball is still live. This puts the plunger...
Apologies if this belongs in the table art category: the prefixing appears to not be set up in that subforum.
WH20 appears to have a ghost/phantom ball "under" the plunger. It doesn't impede the travel of the plunger in any way, which makes me think it's part of the art layer. It doesn't move...
Seconded. I recently switched over to shake mode from touch, but find myself automatically touching the dead space between the flipper zones as a Hail Mary play to try and rescue a ball. Shoving the tablet away from me (or tipping it downward?) is not as intuitive as a sideways shake for the...
I think this happened due to the "pass through the flipper" bug: the ball accelerated through the tip of the flipper, and the physics engine went from there.
Mind you, I'm not saying I dislike this table -- quite the opposite -- just that I'm consistently terrible at it, and speed may be a...
The funny thing is, I do love Space Shuttle. I just downloaded the freeplay demo version, and although I hit the score limit in a short time, it was controlled. I never felt like the table was playing itself like I do with BH. I always keep the camera locked and in a normal distance from the...
That's got to be what the ball on this table is made from.
Is BH tuned super fast? I can't believe the ball in a real table is as lively as the one on this machine: it would bash itself to pieces in the first few plays. Shots to the lower level should maybe be something of a challenge, but I...
It's an island, so choices are limited. I've gone through the Webster tube both times but there's bridges as well. The GPS doesn't steer me that way, though.
I'm not sure how current that plan is. Playland-Not-At-The-Beach is somewhat near the Palace, up in the North Beach area, though it's more of a penny-arcade type place (also well worth a trip.) PPM was making noises about moving into the Carnegie Building, which is in Alameda as well? I'm not...
This is in the Village of Alameda, which is just off of Oakland, near San Francisco. Not what I would call "close" to LA until that magical far-off day when we get a high-speed rail between LA and SanFran (just shortly after pigs fly.)
There's got to be more local places available. This one...
