I am surprised there are only 20 backers so far. Thought people would snap up all those tables for $25/22€/£17 as the Steam price is bound to be more than that (I paid more in Euros for the Android game).
I would imagine now they are greenlit so quickly when they do meet the target they will probably give a Steam key to keep distribution easy. A bit like pro pinball, they emailed direct early builds to supporters and then gave us a Steam key once the game was officially released. This campaign...
Zsolt - it might be worthwhile mentioning on the IndieGoGo that the standard PC build will at least support rotated monitors. Even though it isn't cab support it is the way a lot of people choose to play. On VPforums some people won't support unless they at least see that option.
Actually the good thing about Zacc is the camera editor. On my Android tablet I setup a nice cab like view in portrait (static). If the PC version will support portrait (even TPA does that) then we can always display a static backglass easily. Still not as good as cab support but at least...
Excellent! I am a bit afraid of the level needed to achieve cab support :(, but hopefully we can make it. Such as quality game :)
Zsolt - Will the standard PC build (10K) at least include the ability to rotate the game to play on a rotated monitor?
Maybe Valves love of 'Vintage Pinball machines' might make them greenlight this through the back door:

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.. Say no more.
I don't get any frame-rate issues at all on 2 PCs I have and that is with settings set to maximum. I thought that was a benefit of pre-rendering, you don't need an ultra high-end PC so might be worth you reporting your specs to them.
The new lighting looks awesome and physics are superb too - massive improvements! What a great table :). Unfortunately I only managed about 15 mins as we have some people staying with us atm, but can't wait to try out more options once they leave :).
A few things I noticed:
[Edit: removed...
Great idea about the demo - the original Pro Pinball - The Web back in 1995 came with a playable demo on a PC Magazine CD-ROM that gave you something like 40 secs playtime. As it was MS_DOS based you needed to re-boot the PC to play for another 40 secs. It made me rush out and by the game...
A friend of mine from the UK who I hadn't seen for about 7 years came to stay with us a few months ago. We played the virtual cab a lot, and while I was at work his wife told me he had playing hours with it (the cabinet that is ;)). I only showed him VP and TPA DX11 but funnily enough he got...
I am sure he will, but he can only do it when he gets time. Sometimes his real life commitments will come first. I personally keep a backup of TPA with the offline mod file which means I can always play the last 60 or so tables with a decent camera view. I hold back from updating until the mod...
I loved the Pro Pinball so much back in the mid-90s I stumped up $100 to the Kickstarter to get early access, etc. (We got the Alpha in April 2014 which is almost 2 years ago). I could just about afford it and my wife thought I was mad, but I wanted to see a cab version of it. So for me it...
Glad you guys have finally got it. Not bad is it? Can't wait for the cab render. The lighting sliders set low are what make it really stands out for me.
Thanks for the info on HDR - I see what you mean so probably not possible and by no means straightforward. I just finished another solid hour playing it ;). The ball is so much better than before so that change you did was well worthwhile. I do indeed have the ROM on Max so will reduce that...
